Nope, this is my first time. I'm stoked.

So, I've been looking through my Trio stuff, and outside of full albums and 2 split E.P's, heres the rare stuff I've got...

Weak Week
Bye Bye Love
Wash Away
We Can Never Break Up
Don't Say You Won't
Hallowe'en
Jaked on Green Beers
Warbrain
Over at the Frankenstien Place
The Metro
Heaven
Lucretia My Reflection
All On Black (Acoustic)
My Friend Peter (Acoustic)
Radio (Acoustic)
Bleeder (Acoustic)
Snake Oil Tanker (Acoustic)
Crawl (Acoustic)
Time to Waste (Acoustic)
Emma (Acoustic)
This Could be Love (Acoustic)
Private Eye (Acoustic)
I Was a Prayer (Acoustic)
Mercy Me (Acoustic)
Blue in the Face (Electric Demo)

Anyone got something by the Trio that I dont have? Could they care to upload it for me?

They'll get bum secks. :chug:

I have their cover of Children In Heat, plus acoustic versions of lots of songs, such as Hell Yes, Clavicle, Goodbye Forever, Maybe I'll Catch Fire.

You want any of those?

Oz Rembrandt 12-30-2005 07:07 AM

Yeah, any of those'd be great. I used to have Children in Heat, but the file corrupted for some reason, it wouldnt play.

I'm just uploading them all now. The acoustics are all from the live in London acoustic show.

HitHardDrums55 12-30-2005 10:34 AM

chumpradio, if i have the right children in heat cover, it doesnt sound too much like the trio...a little bit but not like "that cant be anyone except alkaline trio"

poprocks&coke 12-30-2005 02:15 PM

I have... a Matt Skiba voodoo doll with his hair in, so that you can make him do whatever you like.

I don't really, but I wish I did... lol

HitHardDrums55 12-30-2005 02:19 PM

i wonder what you'd do with that...

personally, i'd get it to teach me guitar...

life of a dog 12-30-2005 05:01 PM

alkaline trio is the best band on the planet

they have saved me from doing so many stupid things

my faverate songs are

mr. chaindaw

steamer trunk

goodbye forever

cringe

youre dead

armageddon

all on black

good ****in bye

dead end road

HitHardDrums55 12-30-2005 05:11 PM

just so you know, Good ****ing Bye isn't actually Alkaline Trio, but rather a Matt Skiba solo song on his split with Kevin Seconds...

Chilly-Bean-Bop 12-30-2005 05:53 PM

I like Good ****ing Bye. And that's Chainsaw, not Chaindaw.

Untitled 12-30-2005 06:17 PM

Heres a pic of my Alk3 coursework so far.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v312/Untitled258/200512191522vb.jpg

That, but the photoshop small version will be on the front cover...

Thats the origonal, but inverted so you can actully see what it is.

oh dont get me wrong i love good ****ing bye, and all the other songs i've heard of skiba's solo stuff including his live acoustics (some of them are just him without dan and derek)...i was just making a correction

Chilly-Bean-Bop 12-30-2005 09:54 PM

I know. I'm just saying my opinion. I knew you were talking to him. :)

HitHardDrums55 12-30-2005 10:06 PM

hah just makin sure u didnt think i was saying i didnt like or somethin crazy like that ;)

Chilly-Bean-Bop 12-30-2005 10:13 PM

Ahh. Nahh. I actually downloaded it the other day, and I'm like "Wow, this song is beautiful."

HitHardDrums55 12-30-2005 10:16 PM

of course, it's acoustic and has the voice of one of todays lyrical geniouses

Chilly-Bean-Bop 12-30-2005 10:17 PM

Mmhmm. <3

Polyamarous 12-31-2005 07:41 AM

Just booked ticket for liverpool gig.
Im awesome, that'll be the third time i've seen them in 2 years

Oz Rembrandt 12-31-2005 09:43 AM

I prefer Dan's Solo stuff from his split with Mike Felemulee to Matts. Matts stuff is great, but I dont much like Kevin Seconds.

chumpradio 12-31-2005 09:51 AM

I don't like Kevin Second's half at all, but Matt's is great.
Dan's is also great, and Mike Felumlee's is okay, but nothing amazing in my opinion.

Oz, how did you like those acoustics? I have the whole show if you want it, but I'd have thought you'd have it, because it was a bloodpact exclusive that I got my hands on.
It's the same show as the Sadie acoustic on the deluxe Crimson.

Oz Rembrandt 12-31-2005 10:03 AM

I found it after you sent me it... damnit...

They were awesome though, especially Hell Yes, its a top song.

Untitled 12-31-2005 11:17 AM

I was and you all ignored me

byes.

TheDashing89 12-31-2005 05:30 PM

Does anyone else think that the piano intro in "Time to Waste: is possibly the coolest one of all time? (But only if you dont iclude Journey : Don't Stop Believin')

HitHardDrums55 12-31-2005 05:40 PM

whenever i can get my friend zac over to my house he's teaching me time to waste...and i'm teaching him the demo version of your neck on keys...your neck is much easier than time to waste, but it still sounds cool

Chilly-Bean-Bop 12-31-2005 06:02 PM

I love the demo version of Your Neck. I wonder why they didn't keep it. Piano makes it sound so much more beautiful. I haven't had time to figure out/search for tabs for Time to Waste. Well, I have, but I'm just too lazy.

HitHardDrums55 12-31-2005 10:10 PM

zac said it took him a few hours to learn, but he cant read sheet music anymore cause he hasnt had to since he was 7 or 8...he started keys when he was 7 and hes 16 now, so he's really good he learned it by ear and it's like perfect....i cant play your neck as fast as they play it, i always hit the wrong keys, but i havent started keyboard until this past christmas, so i guess even knowing the notes is a pretty good step for my lack of experience

chumpradio 01-01-2006 04:16 AM
Does anyone else think that the piano intro in "Time to Waste: is possibly the coolest one of all time? (But only if you dont iclude Journey : Don't Stop Believin')
Aye, it's very cool.
The demo version is too cheesy though, with the electric drums.

HitHardDrums55 01-01-2006 11:43 AM

i dont mind that, but the piano sounds too echoey and you cant really tell what it's playing...the actual cd version of that song is much better

poprocks&coke 01-01-2006 05:34 PM

I bought the deluxe version of Crimson yesterday. I'm thinking about selling the signed copy... should I?

Untitled 01-01-2006 05:35 PM
I bought the deluxe version of Crimson yesterday. I'm thinking about selling the signed copy... should I?
I wouldnt.

poprocks&coke 01-01-2006 05:40 PM

Nah, I was thinking that.

Maybe if I'm really strapped fer cash in the future, and they get really famous.

Oz Rembrandt 01-01-2006 05:57 PM
I bought the deluxe version of Crimson yesterday. I'm thinking about selling the signed copy... should I?
I'll buy it! :thumb:

poprocks&coke 01-01-2006 06:02 PM

Or you could just get yours signed when you see them 'cause Dan wants to learn bass of you 'cause you're so damn good. :D

Oz Rembrandt 01-01-2006 06:04 PM

Dan wants to learn from me? I knew it!

poprocks&coke 01-01-2006 06:08 PM

I'm listening to Crimson for the first time since about June.

It's ****ing brilliant.
