--Bump--
Wow - played Dyers Eve twice now - think its going to become a "concert favourite"? |

I don't feel like reading all the posts in this thread, so I'm wondering how iron maiden got into metallica. Anyway, I've always had this feeling that iron maiden was sort of the first band of its kind. I also think megadeth sounds quite a lot like them. So this makes me wonder if maiden was a big influence on megadeth. Megadeth to me sounds like a more modern maiden sound. I like it a little more, but they are both SWEET!

AHAHA! Iron Maiden got into METALLICA?! Metallica got into Iron Maiden.... Maiden had already released their 4. album by the time metallica released their first... Lars was a big fan of NWOBM, wich iron maiden at that time where leading.... hope i make my self clear.... |
It's good to see Blackened and Fight Fire With Fire being played in concert. But I agree with earlier posters, Four Horsemen would be sweet. Has anyone seen them perform Orion,To Live Is To Die,..And Justice For All, Frayed Ends Of Sanity, or Shortest Straw. For I haven't seen or heard of those tracks being played. I assume that those songs would be much more complex to perform than the others, excluding Battery, One,ect. but what do I know. Anyways, I'm seeing them in 2 weeks and I can't wait
|
yeah i wish they played to live is to die that'd be really interesting to see
|
Go to www.metmp3.com if you want some of their live mp3 bootlegs. Cliff's first show is available there, too.
You can hear James sing MoP's first solo in Roskilde's MoP. |

Because dave from megadeth (guitar/vocals) came from Metallica maybe? ;) |

there was a live 4 horsemen on the Unnamed feeling EP a while back, wasn't there? I know they played that at their French shows last year. |

When playing FFWF do they skip the intro. you know the melody thingy. I would like to see To live is to die played live also. It would be so nice... |
Load, Reload
all right im sure im ging to get plenty of respnoses sayin they suck. But in my opinion ireally like those albums. Sure tehy are very differnet from their first 4 (they were amazing cd's) but loa d and reaload have their own magic tothem to me i get a old vintage roick n roll sound something we dont really ahve any more and yes i knkw the cds are old but i jsut got both like4 days ago and they really are good. Tell me your opinion?

Better than St Anger.
I liked the albums and I don't think they were selling out. Subpar Metallica though compared to the earlier albums but still good albums though. |
Yeah, theyre good albums.
Nothing near as good as Puppetz/Lightning/Justice, but theyre good for what they are. Reload isnt as good as Load though.... St Anger however, is a pile of crap. |
I liked em. They are what got me interested in Metallica and playing guitar.
|
they're not bad,but compared to st anger, load and reload look like master of puppets

Hehe. Sorry  |
that's ok
|
Load 0wnz. Fantastic album.
Reload doesn't own as much, but still has some fantastic songs on it. |
To me "Cure" on Load is bad azz song it has a real good intro i love it sounds really ol time classic roick with a metal make over sound lol (it sounded funny in my head)
|
I liked them both. Not as good as st anger though....
|
Load and ReLoad are both quality albums. Both albums have some great songs on them but then they have the songs that aren't too good to cancel off the good songs.
|
