I bet Hiero were awesome. Speaking of Wu Tang, Method Man is touring with Inspektah Deck right now, I bet that would be fun.

Apocalyptic Raids 10-14-2006 09:41 AM

I saw a Method Man album at the library last time I was there. It might have been the new one, I'm not sure.

I'll probably pick it up next time I'm there.

Fuck that.

ATM 10-14-2006 04:28 PM

Yea, a lot of people coming through this area are really jacking up their prices. Rakim wanted 45 or some ****.

raus 10-14-2006 04:45 PM

Wu-Tang was 45 with all those other people.

ATM 10-15-2006 02:05 PM

A few friends of mine saw the Roots last night, and said they covered Shimmy Shimmy Ya.

beso negro 10-17-2006 01:00 AM

I just heard the new Akon album. Instant classic.

Rams 10-17-2006 11:23 PM

I am going to be ballsy and hear a Jeru The Damaja CD not named The Wrath of the Math or The Sun Rises In The East.

ATM 10-17-2006 11:59 PM

How many others are there?

Rams 10-18-2006 01:15 AM

There are two more, Heroz4Hire and Divine Design.

Robert Crumb 10-18-2006 01:55 AM

I almost bought Heroz4Hire used once but it was just so ugly looking I lost my nerve at the last second.

New Hi-Tek came in the mail today. Pretty cool at first listen. Except for the Busta track, which is many kinds of horrible.

Robert Crumb 10-18-2006 08:54 PM

This Hi-Tek album might be the most immaculately produced album released this year. Spotty at times as an album because of all the guest spots, but Hi-Tek is absolutely on the spot with the whole thing. Except for the Busta track, which is many kinds of horrible.

pixiesfanyo 10-18-2006 09:04 PM

Hip Hop Honors.

Lol

JonM 10-18-2006 10:23 PM

I love that Ice-T is hosting the Hip Hop Honors and Rap School simultaneously.

ATM 10-19-2006 02:56 PM

When does that come on?

Anyway, who is this Kurious guy who I keep hearing appearing on records? He's on that awesome song with MF Grimm called Travelling that samples In the Court of the Crimson King.

Does he have any albums?

Eliminator 10-19-2006 03:06 PM
i got some rza last night good stuff
His solo stuff is pretty weak, but the Ghost Dog soundtrack is fucking great. Not the American one, the Japanese import one.

ATM 10-19-2006 04:23 PM

Sweet, I found a Kurious album on Albumbase.

Rza is the only wu-tang solo that I actually don't like. I have one of this albums and you're right, it's really weak.

JonM 10-19-2006 05:21 PM

You RZA-detractors gotta get The Formula For The Cure.

ATM 10-19-2006 06:15 PM

Anyone else grab the 4 CD Celph Titled album yet?

raus 10-19-2006 07:43 PM

metalkingtiger 10-20-2006 08:45 AM

Can you guys recommend me some old-school Gangsta-style rap? I like stuff like Compton's Most Wanted, Cypress Hill, Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre, Ice Cube but I only have a few songs so I need more songs of that same style.

ATM 10-20-2006 08:55 AM

Brotha Lynch Hung

Apocalyptic Raids 10-20-2006 09:01 AM

What Jedi Mind Tricks album should I get next? I've already got Violent By Design.

Have you heard any albums by Army of the Pharoahs?

Rams 10-20-2006 10:51 AM

This is the third album I've heard MF Doom use the same beat.

@metalkingtiger,

pick up The Doc's No One Can Do It Better and Ice Cube's Amerikkka's Most Wanted.
