Try Kissing The Shadows...covers don't usually bring out the best in bands.

blacklantern 07-12-2005 10:43 AM

Thanks for that....i will try it and hopefully i'll enjoy...

Trust me you will. KTS is one of COB's finest moments and my personal favorite song.

But if he doesn't like it it basically means he doesn't like Bodom at all.

Drugstep 07-12-2005 01:38 PM

I didn't even like Kissing The Shadows too much. It was great, but I don't find it to soar above the rest of their material.

:amaze:

Even with the big solo at the end, and the numerous leads scattered throughout the song? I think that's what made the song so great...there are a lot of lead parts, even though some are merely atmospherical instead of a solo that you would focus on...

Drugstep 07-12-2005 01:44 PM

Well, I've onlt listened to the CD once, so I don't remember exactly. I'll give it another listen in a minute or two.

And are you male or female?

Me? I'm a guy. :)

What made you think otherwise?

Drugstep 07-12-2005 01:58 PM

FOr some reason you came off as a female.

Bopbopdoobop.

Listening to it just now, KTS had some great riffs and solos, but I really didn't find it the best. *shrugs*

superpeer 07-12-2005 02:08 PM

I saw hatebreeder in a used CD store today. €8

Is it good? No fanboy answers please, compare it to the other albums and keep in mind the store also had Morbid Angel, Necrophagist and Cathedral.

Probably because you like Nightwish. :p

whatduffhuck7 07-12-2005 02:34 PM

It is very good. The style is very fast, aggressive power metal with high shrieked vocals and melodic, technical guitar playing.

Oh HAH HAH. :p

Hatebreeder...I think it is like a watered down Follow The Reaper. It has all the elements of it, just not as high craftmanship as that album. It's better than Something Wild or Hatecrew Deathroll, just not as good as Follow The Reaper.

Worth the 8 euros, or whatever that symbol stands for (I'm American... :upset: )

EDIT: Ok, ive joined the Hatecrew Forum. Now, GIVE ME MY SOMETHING WILD! :p

That hurts for some reason.

And what the hell do you mean, "Give me my Something Wild?"

I would do it...but as much as I love to be a go-to guy for music uploading I'll let him do the honors. :)

IheartSP 07-12-2005 06:12 PM

Hatebreeder is not worse than Follow the Reaper, I think it has a lot of great songs and is just as much worth a buy as Follow the Reaper is.

whatduffhuck7 07-12-2005 07:23 PM

/\ it does, i like it better than follow the rearper i like towards dead end. it has a pretty catchy chorus

The Nuclear Blast Deluxe Edition of Something Wild came with Don't Stop at the Top and Silent Scream.

IheartSP 07-12-2005 11:46 PM

According to the archives it was on both
