TOP 10 REASONS FOR BEING ENGLISH:
1. Two World Wars and One World Cup doo-dah doo-dah 2. Warm beer 3. You get to confuse Yanks with the rules of cricket 4. You get to accept defeat graciously in major sporting events 5. Union Jack underpants 6. Water shortages guaranteed every single summer 7. Puts you in with a chance of bedding Joan Collins 8. Bathing once a week - whether you need to or not 9. Ditto changing underwear 10. Beats being Welsh, 11. Or Scottish |
1 REASON FOR BEING AMERICAN:
1- They cant count to 10 :p There all true, apart from warm beer, and the water shortages are rare now 'cause of globel warming making it rain all summer, and winter, and autum, and spring. |
I agree with 10 and 11, but 7 scares me

Yay, Seth i love you, just for saying it right. And thats painfull too.
Allofme, American and English his different i guess, americans spell colour, as color, and centre, as center stuff. Stuff english though with minor changes. |
But it's still English. There was never a language called American. It just makes people sound so stupid if they say they speak American.
|
I really do love you Europeans :D
It's just an act... You guys have funny voices and have no common sense :thumb: |

It's just an act... You guys have funny voices and have no common sense :thumb:
WHERE NOT THE COUNTRY WHO NEEDS SUBTITLES TO UNDERSTAND OUR OWN LANGUAGE  |
There are two different kinds of English....American English and the King's English. The King's English is spoken wherever the British Empire held influence over. American English is spoken in America and Canada, and other places I'm sure.
|
Notice how every so often, we always end up complaining about the other country
