How could you have all of their albums and not like them, i mean if you bought an album and didn't like it then the chances of you buyin another album by that band are prety slim, but if you did buy another by that band and liked say one track why would you go and buy yet another of their albums? just curious thats all :thumb:
by the way im a big RATM fan, i never got to see them live though :upset: :upset: :upset: :upset: i......like audioslave, but their nothin compared to RATM. Does anyone think RATM will ever get back together for a couple more gigs some time in the future?? i can see it happenin sometime in the next 5 years, anyone else think this too??? |

I think you've missed the point as to why RATM broke up.
|
Has anyone in this thread seen them live? I've saw Audioslave. Closest your gona get.
Fck, we need more RATM votes in the Ultimate Rock band poll. They're 3rd! |

Favorite Album: Self Titled and Evil Empire
Favorite Song:Know your Enemey. (the feeling I get when listening to it... wow) RATM rocks. Favorite band, easily |
Calm Like A Bomb is the best song to be listening to while you're walking down the street, anyone agree?
|
I donno about that, but its a pretty damn good song. Bass intro +++

Is that the song with the bass intro off the first album? If so, you are right. My favorite Rage songs would be "Know Your Enemy" "Vietnow" or "Bombtrack" |
No, It's off Battle Of LA.

Do you know the song I'm talking about though? I think it would be a good street walkin' tune. |
You must be referring to Bullet In The Head.
|
Man, I really need to pick of Live at the Grand Olympic Auditorium already. Maybe it would reignite my love for RATM.
I'm listening to Evil Empire right now. I forgot how much it rocks. |

That would be it. |
Calm Like A Bomb was always my favourite off BOLA.
Jake: I would probably rate the Grand Olympic Auditorium as their best DVD. Not only do you get the gig, but you also get the free show they did outside the republican convention (or something, I forget what it was called). |

Good video aswell. I like the self-titled DVD alot, good video footage from different periods in the Rage era. |
personally, I prefer the the Battle of Mexico DVD the best, purely because it sounds much better than Live at the Grand Olympic Auditorium.

I agree. There's just alot more emotion, IMO. I get the feeling a little more, also they play a little bit of 'Township Rebellion" at the end of Freedom :thumb:! |
Yeah I love when that song kicks in on Freedom... adds some spice to the song. Sounds sweet live to.
|
I wish that they would have played the last chorus with all the harmonics as well, but they at least did part of the song so, I'm happy.

The Township Rebellion bit was a nice little surprise, I wish they'd played it all, great solo, great song. :thumb: |

I thought that the Grand Olympic performance of Freedom was the best because there weren't as many errors with equipment as there were in Mexico City. |
Not to mention it was the last time the song was played.
EVER. Actually the last Rage song played live would be Know Your Enemy, because of the encore... |
Well that's if you wan't to get technical about it. Didn't they also play People of the Sun in the encore as well?
|
Yes, People then Enemy.
That concert was 5 days and 5 years ago today... |
So what are the names of all the Live DVDs that Rage has released?
|
Self Titled, Battle Of Mexico City, and Live at the Grand Olympic Auditorium.

What errors? Is their problems, 'cause I didn't notice any? |
