I had lost my strings for a week, which was when i originally intended on re-stringing it.

I haven't done mine since February, and I restrung my high e backwards, so it falls off the fretboard some times when I'm playing. I'm just lazy.

I havnt changed my strings ever...and iv had my bass a few years..but its a bass so it can take more abusing..on my upright bass i broke a string once and it hit me in the face...that fu'ckin sucked.

I used to use 009.'s, and when I did i would change the set when my high e would break. I now use 11's, sometimes tens, because they have more depth, especially with a really thick pick.

Anyways, I had ernie ball 9's (slinky) and broke 3 packs in like a week, I hated them. So, I got d'addario's which sucked *** and now I use GHS boomer 9's.

9's are weird i don't like em

Ernie balls and gibsons are the two best, IMO. though i have yet to use DR coated's or GHS..........
