Music is excellent but the vocals hmmmm. Encouraged me to d/l Of Malice and the Magnum Heart

the vocals on that album are great imo

What is All That Remains categorized as? Phil said they were definately metalcore, but they don't sound like any metalcore I've heard...

All That Remains are metalcore, I'm pretty sure lots of metalcore uses the scream/sing thing like ATR.

Yea Phil has good and accessible vocals

I have met Phil and Oli. Phil is short, about 5'4'' or so. I was surprised.

I'm sorry but I'm going to have to disagree. Still Remains' album is pretty good, especially the song White Walls.

But honestly, Kingston Falls? I have that album and I saw them live, and they aren't underrated. They are alright, but there are so many better bands. Meh...

White Walls is one of SR's weaker tracks easily imo. So many better ones...

I saw KF headline for a crowd of about a dozen people, with their old (i.e. good) vocalist and they owned. He's easily one of the best and refreshing compared to most (who have a generic metalcore growl). Their new album/new vocalist is terrible. I just don't understand, how are they [I]not [/I]underrated? I don't think anyone has talked about them here, and they don't even have a band page on this site :confused: CoS is a pretty catchy and solid album.

Still Remains - Of Love and Lunacy was decent. I thought they had potential, but the new album went in a direction that i'm not as into. It's very pop metal.

Shai Hulud are so boring. Boring riffs, boring vocals...I still don't get the big deal with them.
