The Classic Rock Thread will always be the heart of the Rock & Metal board. We have had some good times in there that most of you missed.
I try to keep up in there, but theres usually bands i dont know about you guys talk about, so i dont make any spam or random remarks and let you guys go. And the Classic Rock thread lacks what this thread has...post that require no thought once-so-ever. Possibly the whole reason this thread is so successful But i love the clissic rock thread. I wouldnt of ever been a user here if it werent for that thread |

That's subjective to taste I think. It certainly is a good tread, a hive of information, with alot of great posters who know their stuff. But if you're not really interested in classic rock then it won't be of great importance. |
Allo, first real time in this casual thread so...yeah..

I wouldnt of ever been a user here if it werent for that thread
It's like that with the deathheads thread for me. I go in a lot, but they're usually discussing bands I don't know of. I'm not going to check every single one out either. Oh well. |
never been there

Well, since Portugese football/soccer doesn't seem to be doing the trick, I think I'll head to bed to solve my boredom.

The Classic Rock Thread will never be anything more to the R&M forum than the death heads thread; a fantastic font of knowledge about it's main subject, and a great discussion place for it's already knowledgeable users, but never the heart. This thread will never be the heart either, though. |
The Classic Rock thread is the reason I joined mx.
|
Well, of course it is only my opinion, but we get a very small percentage of posts in the Deathhead Thread, due to the people who believe it is for Deadheads :p. And we'll always have that :upset:
place for it's already knowledgeable users, but never the heart.
Well then it's definitley the stomach. |
Looks like this thread is pretty new in itself..

Nothing...my roommate keeps trying to get me to watch the Butterfly Effect. I'm very resistant to the idea. Any movie that rips off the plot of the Time Machine and stars Ashton Kutcher at the same time can't possibly be as good as he says it is, is my logic. However, I'm wondering if maybe he's right and I'm wrong. Anybody seen the movie that can tell me?
|
Good evening gentlemen. Ripper, its an OK at best movie. The plot isn't super exciting and as you said, its Ashton Kutcher, how good CAN it be.

It would've been better if they hadn't used Ashton. |

Its not bad at all...i for one like it...its my opinion though ...and i guess the R&M forum works alot differantly then my bass forum. |
i thought that movie was awesome, and the time machine sucked major a**,at least the new version did,god that was horrible, but i never saw the originally one,but the butterfly effect had a good story to it and was pretty funny
