and regarding Young Widows, that release should be awesome. Saw them back in March and they were probably the tightest live band I've seen

wish i lived near there. to see murder city devils would be worth the trip alone. but with naked raygun the butthole surfers and the dead milkmen. neato. none of the other bands really thrill me

That's pretty sweet. I wish I could have seen the Dead Milkmen play as a full band. I saw Joe Jack Talcum play an acoustic show at a playground before though, and he did some Milkmen songs. That might be the closest I get.

In other news, I just got back from an extended weekend trip to Montreal. It was awesome.

riot fest does indeed seem like an amazing show.

also in recent news my friend Doug, Emancipator, opened up for Bonobo in Portland.

apparently it was an amazing show even though he had limited dexterity on guitar and drumpads since he had a hand-cast. ****ed up his hand a couple weeks ago blocking a shot in futsol, plays goalie for an indoor soccer team. wish i could have been there. later on this summer he'll be playing with Amon Tobin and some other people at the STS9 after-party in Denver CO.

In winter Butthole Surfers played in a the festival-meantime project. Now, from 6th to 10th August, there will play lots of bands like Kozelek, Tiny Vipers, Wire... Everything for like 10 Euros!

Flights to Poland seems to be cheap.
