I started Arsis "The Face Of My Innocence" tonight.

I was having no problem with the beginning at about 3/4 speed. I was quite pleased with that since I thought it'd be harder.

Pretty fun. I messed around with the solo and that doesn't seem [i]that[/i] hard so I'll prolly be fine.

My elbow has been acting up so I haven't been playing as much. Only a couple hours each day, instead of like 5 or more. I did play til midnight tonight and last night.

Can you guys suggest some songs I should download to get into COB? I only have Children Of Decadence and I love it.

Why not? I get bored and restless easy and very much so if I'm not playing guitar. I can only do other things so much. IE, Computer, exerchise, TV, Video Games etc etc....

My life is such,

Classes in the morning/early afternoon
Get home watch tv or w.e
Grab a snack
Play guitar until dinner
watch some sports or play video games for a while
Exercise some
Guitar untill midnight or a little after.

That's basically my life, except order might be switced around on some days.

Note: I don't work. :cool:

I can, I usually practice anywhere from 3-8 hours each day. I have that much time on my hands. :lol:

i can only get like 4-5 cause i work about 10 hours a day

On most days I get bored after about 30mins.

Sometimes I play longer, but not all that often.

Meh, I think I spent an hour or two on chromatics and getting them up to speed yesterday..fun stuff. I'm thinking of incorporating them into some of my solos when my band records our full length this summer...

Well, practicing too much bores me and makes me like music less overall. Just relaxing and playing whatever is what is so fun to me.

yea, but that doesnt really help you progress at a good pace man. I find not progressing boring, and waste of time :lol:

I'd pretty awesome too if I practised with a metronome everyday as soon as I got into the faster playing, I'm still doing things I was doing a year ago.
