I've done my best give him a benefit of the doubt (not that what I think really matters), but in RM I just don't see what he brings that we can't live with out.

It started at a month, jumped to 6 after he continued on the next account, and then to a year on the one after.

Whats the point of reducing a ban when he obviously makes no effort to change?

Far be it for me to put my two cents in, but Elim does little but instigate conflict, spam, post lulzy pics, derail discussion, and be annoying....plus, his humour is often that of a two year old...

God forbid we try keep some sort order in here. GD is there for elim to post his name all he wants. Thats not what R&M is for. You guys can go frolic on the chans with that stuff, but a lot of users here are sick of seeing that.

There's plenty of order around here. What less spam does Elim contribute than say, Niflheim/Totenkrieg, myself, Josh, Dargon, etc.

Exactly, and I too have been trying to give him the benefit of the doubt and ignoring him. Nut in all honesty Elim knows what he does gets him banned so I don't see why we should be having this be an issue if Elim is essentially walking right into a ban on purpose.

Theres something to ignoring posts. You can only ignore provocative posts for so long before your patience runs thin (i.e. Jaylink), but when a post doesn't derail threads or change the topic for the worse or are insulting etc., its really not hard to ignore. His posts like that don't contribute, sure, but for a problem to start over it is kinda ridiculous.

If he had a 20 post combo of just his name I'd get it though so idk

There is difference between what you guys post, and the incessant posting of a user name, mocking users, and posting utterly inane **** that elims seem to thrive on. I've never seen him help a user that doesn't pander to him, as stated before I've only seen him mock new users on their taste in music, or just pure copy and paste. I've seen you post on topic in threads more often than I say you post mindless and distasteful spam.


Yes we all spam, but he takes it to level that is disruptive and not humorous. GD disabled post counts so you can vent you urges there, and so we can talk about music with out worrying about a page full "Eliminator" posts.

Vince is merely trying to keep some order here, and its not as if Elim does know better. He chooses to post in RM likes its GD. As such, he chose the ban.

I posted under TTEOVD directly after my main, my main got a week ban. Elim did the same thing, he got a year. Yeah bro, reasonable.

yet what you did under TTEOVD is not what you're normal style is. On top of that Vince originally gave him a short ban. He came in with his alts and spammed to spite him. he very much deserves the one year ban.

Vince is and the other mods are very lenient with us, but unfortunately if they give you guys an inch you guys take two. You flop you're "its the internet" rebuttal , but that means nothing. This a is forum in which music discussion is the focus, and as such we are a society. Societies have boundaries to keep thing in some sort of order. The bans are the only means the mods have to keep RM from turning into a version of GD.

Oh, you spammed your name for 2 posts, were told to stop, spammed it twice more, were banned, used another account to do the same thing, were banned for longer, and then did the same thing on a third account and were banned longer?
