anybody know of any music101 sites that go over as much as possible?recording equipment, guitar equipment, bass drums etc. im gonna study up and try to work as my own tech and my bands tech if possible.

ah man I just had an awesome experience

I went out to play my drums, I put my earplugs on, and started playing, and I absolutly LOVED the way my drums sounded. I put new tom heads on Monday but for some reason all my drums sounded PERFECT today. Playing on them, I realized that this is MY drum sound, and i will try and replicate this drum sound.

I should probably post recordings, they sound so nice.

:D I just got Signals and 2112 today and More Drum Techniques of Rush or somecrap like that came in the mail. I'm still waiting for the original book with the more well known songs, for now I'll have these songs to learn. :D

We went christmas shopping.
I got a fleece throw, a PSP gigapack that came with a stupid free accessory pack, and Infected.
Now I just have to wait 10 days.
Ten awfully long days.

Well being ditched is one of the worst things ever. My parents made me go out to this stupid party thing where I was the only teenager there so I just sat there for an hour. Then I phone up my bassist who said to call him once I had left. So I give a call and his dad says that him and the rest of my band went to king kong. ****ing basterds didn't even call me or anything. Now I have to sit at home all night and do nothing.

ontop of games..and off topic of the psp...i tried out shadow of the colossus. amazing graphics...it lacks everywhere else though, only 16 enemies in the entire game.

Ya I know it isn't but it is sort of because we were supposed to be jammin but then they went to king kong instead. It wasn't to bad though because one of the guitarists was out for dinner aswell and he didn't go so I went to his house and just rented a movie.

You see im against spreading the disease known as "children". I would never want any of my own and certainly wouldnt want one of my kids floating around out there.

If I were to have a kid, I would actually raise it and enjoy parenting. I wouldn't want to know that somewhere I have a kid floating around.

BLASPHEMY!!!

Only 16 enemies, about 13 of which are like 100 feet tall which you must climb and stab to death with your sword.
This game is AMAZING, great fun...it usually takes between 15 and 30 minutes to kill each Colossi, with between 5 and 20 minutes to FIND the damn thing sometimes haha
