fiction!

The Great Decay 09-25-2006 08:15 PM

I think drugs are discussed in here more frequently than emo bands are.

cbmartinez 09-25-2006 08:17 PM

Basically, weed is awesome. So much better for you than alcohol.

i gotta say this made me lol

cbmartinez 09-25-2006 08:42 PM

Yeah, that's hilarious. Of course drugs aren't good for you smartass, but weed has less of a negative effect than alcohol.

bottlerocket 09-25-2006 08:53 PM

^ ROFL CHRIS

I back you.

Beer's wicked fun but I prefer smoking pot. Tossin' back some beers with friends is always great, though.

In a social situation, beer >>> shots, by far.

cbmartinez 09-25-2006 08:55 PM

Yeah, a beer or two on like a hot day is pretty fly. But if I'm gonna drink to get drunk, I'll just drink hard alcohol to get fucked up fast.

Matt? 09-25-2006 08:56 PM

ROFL WAY TO MISS THE POINT

i loled at the fact that you related it's health factors to the reason it was better than beer.

wtf dude

btw i'm done with emo. i've moved on to power metal

cobert 09-25-2006 08:56 PM

Did you guys notice that anytime theres a thread where everyone talks about 'the good old days' of the forum and how it sucks now, thyere just talking about stuff that happened between the thread theyre in and the last thread just like it a few months ago?

bottlerocket 09-25-2006 08:57 PM

Yeah, I'm getting sick of the whole "THIS FORUM WAS SO MUCH BETTER" crap.

If they'd post like they did back then it would be just as cool.

I dunno bro, the social circle of just sitting down and chilling with you friends passing the green around rules.

I do love alcohol though, more than weed. Weed is just more user friendly I suppose.
Our entire set on Friday in Maine will be filmed for a video that Simplistic Productions is putting together for the song "Down Not Out". If you're not in the know, you can download the song for free here:
http://www.thinkfastrecords.com/media/Outbreak_Down_Not_Out.mp3

Or you can listen to the song and view the lyrics on our MySpace page:

So be sure to come out, sing along, go crazy and help create the illusion that we are a really important/popular band. If you're from Maine or anywhere in the New England area, please help re-post this through out the week so we can try to get the word out.

cbmartinez 09-26-2006 03:51 PM

Just picked up Brother, Sister which came out today. It's pretty good, I suppose.

Matt? 09-26-2006 03:55 PM

i have a lab to do but i'm too lazy to do it at the moment, i suppose.

bottlerocket 09-26-2006 06:26 PM
All New England kids should hit this up.
Eh, I might.

Chris: I got it, too. I think it's pretty good. Like you said in the IM, it's a lot mellower, but I still dig it a lot.

My physics teacher's grandma died today. He told us that she was in critical condition over the weekend, and if his phone went off he would have to leave and wouldnt be back this week. Then after lunch, somebody told me after he explained that to their class his phone rang and he just put his head down, then a couple of minutes later he walked out talking on the phone.

bottlerocket 09-26-2006 07:49 PM

That sucks, dude. :upset:

How old is your teacher? If his grandmother is just dying, he must be young or she must be pretty old.

-Gav

cobert 09-26-2006 08:10 PM

He's probably about 30, so she was most likely old as dirt.

The Great Decay 09-26-2006 08:33 PM

That's still tough, even if she was old enough to go.

Matt? 09-26-2006 08:38 PM

getting 3 ordination of aaron seven inches this week hopefully

cobert 09-26-2006 08:39 PM

To awkwardly change the subject...

I would love to see the original cut of The Thin Red Line. The final cut was about two and a half hours, but I read the original was just over six, and some big name actors had huge parts that got cut out.

Matt? 09-26-2006 08:47 PM

well see that post where i said " i probably won't start this lab now, most likely" or whatever it says.

five hours have passed since i started.

finally i have finished.

VICTORY

The Great Decay 09-26-2006 08:49 PM

Five hours for a lab? Weak.
