I have yet to hear their other works, but Dechristianize got me hooked.

What have you heard from them?

NJMetalMeister 06-27-2005 07:22 PM

mostly just Dechristanize, just never wowed me per say, and as far as flat out brutal death metal goes, a band has to make an impact on me

Why are y'all talking about baths and showers?

Dr. Jake Destructo 06-27-2005 07:42 PM

How was the vacation 617? When're you gonna record those RATM tracks??

Oh, and swimming is the same way, only with 6-year-old-child piss mixed in. I recall one visit to my city pool, and they had to evacuate it due to a sanitary malfunction. AKA, somebody dropped a duece in the shallow end. :-/ They had to drain it, I guess, and treat it massive with government-grade bacteria killing carcinogens. :amaze:

PCR- Because it's not R&M-related, and that's what goes on in here.

Maaan I remember when I ordered my guitar. :nostalgic: I ordered it sometime around June 17th-ish last year, and it got here sometime at the beginning of August.

First class shipping minus minus. :p

NP: Black Widow - Motley Crue

Dr. Jake Destructo 06-27-2005 07:59 PM

Well, my guitar was an extremely popular item at the time, so it got backordered first. Then, I think FedEx shipped it to the wrong sorting plant or something(I was tracking it on their website day by day) so that was another delay. I wouldn't expect it to take as long as mine did. Beleive me, it was a long time, but it was worth the wait.

In my old city, the high school there held swimming lessons for little kids.

One time, one of the kids dropped a load in the pool and they had to drain the pool, and clean and sanitize it.

A day after the pool got re-filled and re-chlorinated, there was another suspicious item at the bottom of the pool that looked like, well, shit. So they re-drained the pool.

Turns out it was a Baby Ruth bar.

It was all over the city's newspaper that week.

Yeah, that's how lame my old city was.

 It's like that Hershy's bar commercial. I've always wanted to try that.

Dr. Jake Destructo 06-27-2005 08:08 PM

What'd they do with the bar? I would've kept it, or eaten, just to say 'yeah, you remember that Babe Ruth in the pool story? I ate that once they fished it out.'

Heh, my friends on the swim team (girls mind you) like to bring fake poo (the plastic molded stuff) and drop it in the pool in hopes the more conservative members of the team will see it and freak out so that when that member goes to tell the coach, the poo can be retrieved and cause confusion. Funny but bitchy at the same time. Our school makes swimming mandatory for all grade levels. As Juniors and seniors though, we don't have to take lessons, we play pool games like polo and basketball. I like pool games.

My town doesn't have a pool :upset:. We have a really sick lake. When the sun shines on it, it's kind of poopy brown/green, only at the main beach part though. When you get out of town it's all clean.

We have a community pool in my community. I like going there when I'm the only one, otherwise there are a lot of annoying kids splashing around and what not. My family arranged a Welcome-Back-From-Italy-Pool-Party there with all my friends. It was pretty sweet. But it's so **** hot here, all you can do is swim. Or my my case sit home and play guitar all day; I have an excuse now.

Yes, apparently my parents believe that sunlight is a good thing and that fresh air can "do you good". Also that one should not spend the entire day in one's room rocking out on the guitar until one's hand bleeds.

Riva 06-27-2005 08:32 PM

I can swim quite well, which is no suprise, considering Australia is an island. If it sinks, we'd better bloody well know how to swim. :p

Actually, swimming is compulsory for all years from 1 to 9, just to make sure everyone can do it well.

Jeeze my Town has one of the worst pool's ever there is filth all around the sides and you can find bandages everywhere and you might stumble on a condom if your lucky.

of course this one is the most polluted lake in the US I believe. It's about an hour and a half from me.

My familt used to have a house on this one (Piseco) but after my grandmother died my aunt had just married this control freak asshole who changed her from the best aunt ever to a heartless bitch and they basically forced us to get rid of the house. My grandmother's will said that any of her children that wanted to co-own then property could but them and my family were the only ones interested. They told us that if we owned part of it, they would own none of it and we couldn't afford the whole thing so they bought it and refuse to have anything to do with us. It was beautiful there too.

I love the sun and being outside but I hate being hot and sweaty and I get sunburned easily (I am the whitest person I know. Irish american, representin') so I spend a lot of time playing catch while standing in the shade.

I've never done it till I bleed, but I have played until I felt perfusly uncomfortable. I could touch anything without shooting pain going up my fingers.

Same here. I've never bled, I just like exaggeration. :thumb:
The sun? You mean that big thing in the sky that burns and casts all that light? Yeah, the sun sucks.
My point exactly! They all envy me because I tan so well, and I think it sucks. Then again, I'm not one of those girls who covers herself up in newspapers when she goes outside to keep her pale-gothlike-complexion. Thats just ridiculous.

Dancin' Man 06-27-2005 08:43 PM

Tans are nice. I much prefer healthy looking skin than pale skin. I may be the whitest person I know but I'm not pale. Does anyone else know the difference? I ask because I can't describe it.

Ray - I've seen black people with sunburns, but do you tan? And if so, is it very noticeable?

So far, this song is the sex. I'm only 4 minutes in, but this solo is amazing. I can't wait to hear more stuff by these guys. It's nothing too techincal, but the acoustic line goes perfectly with the solo.
