Sufjan Stevens only sounds like him on one album ([i]Seven Swans[/i]), but that's a beautiful album. Everybody always compares Iron & Wine to Will Oldham, but that's only true if you reduce Sam Beam's songwriting ability by 75%. There really aren't that many people out there that sound like Iron & Wine, but there are a lot of people fans of Iron & Wine would like, such as Nick Drake, Roy Harper, The Be Good Tanyas, Great Lake Swimmers, Elliot Smith, Saw, Vetiver, and maybe Devendra Banhart, if you're feeling adventurous.

I'd say you've got that pretty much covered.

I had my meeting at Natwest and it went really really well. The manager was really pleased with the interest I showed to the work (I sat observing people work at the customer service and cashier desks and took notes)

Basically I've got the job and they're going to process all my details and send me a contract so I can (finally) tell Sainsburys where to stick it tommorrow. Yay! :cool:
