I tried getting Arcade Fire tickets today but all 5 shows sold out pretty much instantly. :(
Can - Future Days Bob Dylan - The Bootleg Series, Vol. 4: The "Royal Albert Hall" Concert |
"Wake Up" is like the worst song ever, but the rest of the album is totally deec.
|
lol
|
ive been digging off minor and i love you but i've chosen darkness
|
The Bronx - The Bronx II
MC5 - Kick Out the Jams then I plan on listening to Bee Thousand and reading the corresponding 33 1/3 book I bought on it. |
What's the book called?
|
Joanna Newsom - Ys
Still awesome. J Dilla - Donuts. Great stuff, even though I listened to it out of order. I like the sampling of the Beastie Boys in one of the songs. |
Boredoms - Super ae
The tribal phase of these guys is basically the best tribal rhythm based music ever made. |
Kno (of Cunninlynguists) -The White Album
Miaou - Painted Maserati - Inventions For the New Season (highly reccomended) Manu Chao - Clandestino |
What's the book called?
Bee Thousand ... it's part of the Continuum book series, 33 1/3. I have a handful already, they're wonderful. I loving hearing the line, "You motherfuckers, I want your bloooooood!" It's been soundtracking my day. |
That song rules.
|
I played it back to back about 4 times in the car today, couldn't get enough.
|
Well, they are Guided By Voices.
Once you start, you just can't stop. |
While that is true, we're talking about a song by the Bronx. The Bronx - "History's Stranglers"
|

When I had just gotten my license and was annoyed about going to school, "Shitty Future" was probably my most played car song. "Wake Up" is one of the best songs on the album, but those other three suck. The first song and "Rebellion" arethe best. |
Sam Cooke - Portrait Of a Legend
|
most played car song: Yo La Tengo - Moby Octopad
digging DJ Shadow & Cut Chemist - Brainfreeze Breaks |
Q and not U-Different Damage
Other than 'So Many Animal Calls' its a fantastic album. 'Soft Pyramids' has one of the most distinct intros I've ever heard. |
most played car song: Yo La Tengo - Moby Octopad
That's probably my second most played. |
Yo La Tengo - May I Sing With Me
|
Funeral Diner - The Underdark
|
Rosewood Thieves- From the Decker EP
Nouvelle Vague- Bande A Part The Rapture- Pieces of the People We Love Sean Lennon- Friendly Fire French Kicks- Two Thousand Silversun Pickups- Carnavas And alot of Beatle wannabe bands as well |
way to pick like, the four worst songs
first song gives me chills always, and the rest of it besides the four aforementioned are always great.
Yeah seriously. All of them, especially Rebellion, Neighborhood 1 and 2, and Haiti, rock. |
The Velvet Underground - Loaded
Sebadoh - III Gary Numan - The Pleasure Principle David Bowie - Outside Einstürzende Neubauten - Drawings Of Patient O.T. Lupe Fiasco - Food & Liquor |
LSD and the Search for God
Good dreampop/Shoegaze |
LSD and the Search for God

Same. Too bad I can't seem to find the album on the internets. |
Tangerine Dream - Phaedra
GZA/Genius - Liquid Swords Both albums are classics within their genres. |
Sean Lennon- Friendly Fire
Gosh, you sicken me. Sebadoh - III, they're playing in Boston soon, but alas, it is 18+ :( I haven't been to a good concert in forever too. I also like the Sean Lennon album. I'm such a twee nerd :( |
you can usually get into 18+ shows pretty easily.
|
Not in Boston, when I live in New Hampshire and have strict parents.
|
oh.
|
Oh well...
Now listening to Slint - Spiderland |
Sebadoh are playing here in March with Ted Leo and Midlake.
If I can't go everyone will die. |
Sebadoh + Ted Leo + Midlake = a pretty bitchin' show
