I like RTL more than MOP, but just by a nudge, Then AJFA and then KEA
Yeah it's a tough one but I've always liked RTL the best too.

ESP have some great Guitars. Most of the sig series bore me though. I like Max Cavaleras Brazil Flag guitar and Dave's DV8. There's a few other crackers aswell.

LarsAgi007 03-16-2005 08:27 AM

They have that ESP signature, in a Music store near me, its £260, bargain, the reason it is so cheap is because, it has chipped paint on the back of the fretboard, its still use-able and i would just put a sticker over it lol... Lovely guitar, I have a gibson epiphone, i play guitar sometimes, but i am a full time drummer :)
I asked if i could test it a while ago, unlike te gibson i have, it felt like the guitar was playing for me!, Well worth Buying.., They also had an Kirk Hammet ESP signature series, Not sure of the model as i say, i am a drummer :D

Oh well. I'm glad he just got a ban and didn't ask in here, we have that discussion a bit too often.

Deth 03-16-2005 12:32 PM

Yeah, it's good he stayed out of R&M, by far the greatest forum ever devised.

Six Foot Revolver 03-16-2005 12:38 PM

I'm not sure. MX is going to hell lately

trapped_under_ice 03-16-2005 02:29 PM

Whats MX? Oh, You're talking about the admin?

metal guitar III 03-16-2005 02:37 PM

No, MXican meant the forums in general.

Welcome to the thread orionmonster !

Feel like at home and never say:

1. St.Anger sucks
2. I pwn Lars at drumming
3. They MUST grow hair
4. Load is bad
5. Fade To Black is the hardest solo on earth

Try Master of Puppets solo.

St. Anger does suck.

Lars is an overrated egotistical fag.

Load is alright, I only like the first 3 albums :)

shamed-angel 03-16-2005 03:58 PM

Fade to black is harder than Puppets. Puppets is just random fast playing. The fade solo has feel and emotion.

btoto 03-16-2005 04:04 PM

They both are nothing special.

I haven't tried to play all of 'tallica solos, but I did have some problems with Creeping Death, Ktulu and Phantom Lord.

Josh 03-16-2005 04:05 PM

i love the riff at the end of Fade to black, after the singing stops, its almost impossible to get tired of that song as well

shamed-angel 03-16-2005 04:07 PM

Which riff might that be? Is that the one that then has "Noone but me can save myself....." etc? The song fades out doesn't it?

Josh 03-16-2005 04:10 PM

yeh, that one that has the soloing over the top of it until the song fades out.

It's not that bad.
Personally, I don't miss Kirk's solos one bit, the drums, the tuning and the singing weren't that great, but oh well, I enjoyed the bass more then anything released recently (And it was Bob Rawk, omg olol), and the riffs still kicked ***.
In my opinion, best *original* material since Master.

FlyingPaul_83 03-16-2005 05:11 PM

I thought Justice was original and just as good a MOP

what do you mean "Original"

Chu 03-16-2005 05:19 PM

I thought Garage Days ****en rocked :p

That was all covers, so not original.
