Heh, you're just lucky you never got perma-banned because somebody else's work in a competition was too similar in style, not content to another person's. |

Thanks... Got my old avatar back and my user title is some information about my future. |
god. cigarettes are so much better on aderrall. you guys dont even REALIZE.
I realize :-D |
I don't, because I've never had aderrall.
|
I don't, because I've never had aderrall.
I believe it's spelled Aderoll... why they give kids that is beyond me, it just hypes them up more and they throw out the, "I HAVE ADHD LOL!" excuse. I have ADHD (go figure) I'm on Stratera, a drug that calms me down, what an interesting idea! |
I see. There are two groups of people nowadays, those who have ADHD and those who suffer from depression.

Really? Then I guess I don't fit in. Im neither depressed or have ADHD. |

My statement was somewhat satirical. |

What if you have been diagnosed with both? The way I see it is that everybody has a bit of an attention problem here and there, and in most cases kids diagnosed with ADD/ADHD are just really lazy/assholes and just dick around rather than working/paying attention/ |
My statement was somewhat satirical.
Now I see it. Im dead tired, I think I may take a nap. |

But there are kids like me who seriously do have ADHD... I was very very jumpy, jittery, loud, annoying, etc. until I was diagnosed with it and put on Stratera, now I act completely normal, and I finally do well in school (though not math courses), though I am a bit... "strange," or, "weird," as others tend to put it. |
Why don't you just live with the condition? Maybe being that jumpy, energetic person was part of your personality. You might want to think about whether or not you want to repress that with a pill.

Well duh. |

My statement was somewhat satirical.
Now I see it. Im dead tired, I think I may take a nap.
Looks like a case of ADHD to me. EDIT: Whatever happened to ADD. |

Because there are no harmful side-effects to the medicine, unless I have advanced heart problems. It isn't very addictive, all that happens if I'm off of it is a headache for a few days. I find that I prefer being able to pay attention to what people say, not failing out of school, and being able to function in social situations outside of those who are my closest friends to being a jumpy outcast who fails in school. I have enough problems at home with my family anyhow. I've also found being on the medicine allows me to appreciate Phil Collins.
Whatever happened to ADD.
I believe ADD is just the inability to pay attention, whereas ADHD is hyperactivity built upon that. |
I'm not saying this is the case with you, but I think some kids with "ADHD" just have to grow up and learn some self-control. I'm sure if I took these pills I'd be able to focus more, but maybe learning to discipline yourself is better than just suppressing the urge to wander with a pill. Obviously there are many legitimate cases, but generally I'm starting to think that the fact that society has a pill for every ailment is a bad thing.

Well true, but when I am off of Stratera (normally during the Summer) I catch when I'm acting out of the ordinary now because I know what's expected of me. |
Meh, I have a severe lack of self discipline and I suck at concentrating/paying attention. People take drugs for everything nowadays, I only take drugs for recreational purposes. Whatever suits you, though, I might even consider drugs without side effects (bad side effects :D) if it really helped.
The whole world takes pills for the slightest personality trait and the same world dares judge drugs that don't come by prescription. Hmm. |

Hmm.
I know where you're coming from Jelle, and in all seriousness, I was a whiney bitch looking for an easy way out with the medication, I probably could've learned to control myself on my own, but now that I've been on the medication for so long it would be pointless to be like, "what if..." besides I feel weird when I act too crazy, even when I've been off Stratera for a few weeks. It is indeed bs that people think prescriptions are so necessary but frown on recreational drugs and act like they'll kill you, when in reality some of the prescription drugs are MORE dangerous. |
adderall. i just checked the bottle for the spelling. and i don't have adhd. or i dont think i do. ive never been diagnosed with it. i took it to stay awake. god knows why.
but yes, i see what eleventeen is saying. if this stuff energizes me, what happens when kids are already hyperactive? of course, our generation's way overmedicated anyway. i just found out that one of my friends is dropping out of college and joining the army. this weekend. wow. that caught me offguard. |

 Jelle.
About the Aderall... could've sworn it was with an "o" :(. That stuff is bad dude, you should seriously stay away from it, it's ridiculously addictive. My older brother was prescribed it years ago, and I seriously think it lead to his mental illness, before hand he was very hyper active and what not, but he had a measure of self control, after he went on it on the other hand... he went completely nuts, he got VERY manic, and he started coming up with all kinds of theories. I thought he just lost his mind or something back then, but seeing kids who abuse it recreationally, it's just how the medication effects people. Sure it can be helpful to some, but a lot of people go crazy on it, and the fact that it's so addictive leads to a lot of kids taking extra amounts, which is really bad for the heart. My brother has been ABUSING it for years now, and he had a heart attack around Christmas, he's only 27. |
So, I'm not going to Download this year... Metallica and Guns and roses?!

It's piss poor. Metallica, G&R, Korn and some nobodies. woohoo, really worth paying Ģ130 for |
Yeah, it's pretty wicked how parents prefer to medicate their children up their butts rather than actually be PARENTS and care for the evil seed they planted in their woman's... sexual apparatus.
Anyhow, I think I was in the "hyperactive" borderline when I was a kid but then controlled or something like that. Probably not and I'm lying. I mean... I'm a tad bit unquiet and weird, but I wouldn't medicate for it. Same goes for my incredible absorbing memory, then un-absorbing memory at times, and my horrible tendency to procrastinate. A LOT. |
Woo. Looks like my band might not look like utter retards this Friday.

Good.
