What's everyones deal with "retro" thrash bands? Why do you think they suck so much? I actually enjoy bands like Flesh Made Sin and Bonded by Blood. I know everyone for some odd reason really digs Municipal Waste, but turn up their nose at the bands I just listed. What gives?

I enjoy me some retro thrash too. I guess it's just not "true" enough for some people because "thrash should be dead" (BULLSH[size=2]I[/size]T)...what's wrong with Municipal Waste??

I like stuff like Dekapitator and Toxic Holocaust. Good thrash is good thrash whether made in '86 or '06 imo.

Nothing is really wrong with Municipal Waste. I don't care for them at all, I'm just surprised a large number of people love them.

I just find that most of them that I've heard especially this new LA thrash scene like Fueled by Fire and Merciless Death suck balls.

Thanks for the opinions guys. I was just getting annoyed that everyone hated all of these thrash bands that are trying to go back to the roots, mainly 80's Bay Area thrash.
