I'll probly be in around the same place though with a different drummer, my current drummer and great friend is leaving to go to college in the next year or two.

Crapdragoon 10-28-2004 04:38 PM

Hopefully i will be done with UTI by then and ill be making some serious bank laying under some mercedes benz' turning wrenches. :D

e p 10-28-2004 04:39 PM

In 5 years I will be a freshman at a Community College finishing up my pre-requisits(?) then going to University of Illinois for architectural engineering.

I would actually want to go to Berkelee but I was being realistic.

Wintermute 10-28-2004 04:39 PM

In 5 years time I should just be graduating with a Masters Degree, hopefully.

Foxfire 10-28-2004 04:46 PM
Hey Winter, Do you know what kind of switch I'd need to be able to put a bass in and out of phase with itself? I'm trying desperately to find one...
Just thought I'd bring it to the new page.

Wintermute 10-28-2004 05:24 PM

In and out of phase... interesting idea... why?

FUNKNBASS 10-28-2004 05:24 PM

What type of switch Paul, 3 way blade, toggle, what actual type of switch.

PaulSimonon 10-28-2004 05:26 PM
In and out of phase... interesting idea... why?
Well, my T-40 needs a new phase switch. I might just get two, and put one on my Ibanez...

Funk, just a two way toggle. I'm getting a three way selector for it too, but those are so common...

Wintermute 10-28-2004 05:27 PM

no, I mean why would you have such a switch? It's not something I've come across before.

FUNKNBASS 10-28-2004 05:29 PM

They have **** load of switches at www.stewmac.com. If I know my electronics to put a bass out of phase all you need to do is wire the pups a certain way so any switch will work.

PaulSimonon 10-28-2004 05:29 PM

It comes standard on the T-40s.

Foxfire 10-28-2004 05:29 PM

It's like T.M. Stevens.

Wintermute 10-28-2004 05:29 PM

That would be T.M. Stevens.
Are you asking after the physical switch, or the phase inverter?

PaulSimonon 10-28-2004 05:31 PM
They have **** load of switches at www.stewmac.com. If I know my electronics to put a bass out of phase all you need to do is wire the pups a certain way so any switch will work.
Really? To put a bass out of phase you have to reverse the polarization between the wires, so I'd think you'd need a special switch that could switch between regular and phased.

PaulSimonon 10-28-2004 05:32 PM
That would be T.M. Stevens.

The switch. The wiring is intact, just part of the switch has broken off.

To be honest, I have no idea what a phase inverter is.

Wintermute 10-28-2004 05:33 PM

Then you need whatever switch the last one was...

What type of switch was it?

PaulSimonon 10-28-2004 05:34 PM

I don't know. Thats where the problem is.

FUNKNBASS 10-28-2004 05:34 PM

Go to www.stewmac.com to find one that resembles it.

Wintermute 10-28-2004 05:36 PM

Don't you still have it?

PaulSimonon 10-28-2004 05:39 PM

It's coming from Texas at the moment.

e p 10-28-2004 05:41 PM

Hey everyone. I am home.

:amaze:

FUNKNBASS 10-28-2004 05:48 PM

Hey Luke, whats up.

:amaze: 10-28-2004 05:49 PM

Not a whole lot. I have a rediculous amount of homework tonight, and I have to work all weekend, and I have to fill out college apps and I need a new car and I'm broke and I have a headache and I'm tired. Other than that, I'm just great.
