Soon is fairly ambiguous. Plus I'm not too smart.

Lifetime
w/ The Bronx & The Loved Ones 8pm Doors. FRI. JUL. 7 $15.00 Anyone know the other bands? |
They're both punk type bands, I think Lifetime has been around for a while and The Loved Ones are fairly new (Pretty sure they only have one LP).
|
Cant beat the price.
|
Yeah that would be an awesome show, especially for that price.
|
I didn't know Lifetime had reunited. That should be a good show.
|
Do Lifetime sound anything like the Bronx?
|
NoMeansNo - Wrong
Still amazing. I'm gonna try and learn some of these songs on drums, their drummer is very talented. Like the rest of the band, notably the bassist. |
Magazine - Secondhand Daylight
They maintained a high standard of quality on their first three records. This is great. |
Nah, they're pop-punk.
Gin Blossoms - "Found Out About You" underrated. If you like Big Star or the Replacements I don't see why you shouldn't dig some of their singles.
is Hey Jealousy on that CD? i love that song. |
NoMeansNo - Wrong
Lucky, they'd never come here. They'd be bitchin' live as well I'm sure.
DM never get old. Dave Blood forever!
Truth. Jawbreaker are such an addictive band, I'm rediscovering them just now. Bivouac is my favorite. |

I've had Surfer Rosa and Doolittle for a while and I thought it was time to check out their other albums
their later stuff is awesome. Doolittle is awesome too, but Surfer Rosa is overrated. while Doolittle had great melodies, a great varied selection of songs, etc, Surfer Rosa lacked almost all the memorable melodies of Doolittle and was very dry when it came to variation. but it gains you indie points to like Surfer Rosa better, because the production sucks and the music itself is very dry and lacks the character of all their later albums. |
To say that the production on Surfer Rosa sucks is baffling to me, if you like the flat, colorless sound on Doolittle...
In fact, it's the sound on Doolittle that makes it so inferior in my eyes, not so much the songs. It's either my 3rd or 4th favorite of theirs. |
Wow that is a distracting avatar.
|
Pavement - Wowee Zowee
This is my favorite Pavement album. |
Minor Threat - Complete Discography
**** yes. perfect for getting out agression. |
Right now listening to Cansei de Ser Sexy. Band's kinda horrible and not in that good kind of horrible way, but still sort of fun. Brazilian indie dance-pop. I'll probably never listen to this after a week. I'm going to listen to some Pixies now, though.

The Eels - Blinking Lights
|
Man Man - The Man In A Blue Turban With A Face

All my listening time has been devoted to all these new CD's I got the other day.
