She has a band that plays some sort of weird prog while she just yells surrealistic nonsense in a painfully high voice

i don't think she had any part in it creatively, they're just jamming while she freestlyes

she has a live DVD that I really want to buy

Meatplow 02-24-2010 12:33 AM

Sounds like garbage.

I must hear it.

Jaundice 02-24-2010 12:39 AM

She did a single and a full length, I haven't listened to the LP but I'll try to host the single some time today or tomorrow

they have to be pitch-shifting her voice, there's no way any human being could sound that squeaky and annoying

Meatplow 02-24-2010 03:25 AM

Cool.

To Mom on Mother's Day is elite.

Txus 02-24-2010 08:31 AM
So what is everyone's favorite Triarii album/release?
Jaundice 02-24-2010 09:48 PM

when will more Cripples Crossing Highways be available to the public ?

Meatplow 02-24-2010 10:00 PM

I'm working on a lot of material, none of which i'm quite happy with yet but an LP is in the works. Alternating between teaching myself a lot of software and being distracted, slow progress.

Thinking of releasing a mashup EP, actually. In the vein of this, but more finely strung together (this is only a mockup of a basic idea) -

Nepenthe 02-24-2010 10:02 PM

guys better watch out my creative juices are flowing i might just become the #2 most prolific artist in r&m

Jaundice 02-24-2010 10:03 PM

will check that out in a bit

Ive put so much thought into doing mash-ups but I don't know if I could really take it past the whole Pink and Yellow, video game sound effects with Joy Division percussion and random pieces of Jay-Z beats thrown in, sort of mash-up
guys better watch out my creative juices are flowing i might just become the #2 most prolific artist in r&m
you probably already are, Aaron is the only one with regular output

pretty good man

Meatplow 02-24-2010 10:16 PM

Thanks. It's rough, just ****ing around really trying to fuse contrasting elements.

Aaron 02-24-2010 10:18 PM

Is The Standoffish Cat worth downloading?
you probably already are, Aaron is the only one with regular output
Aww shucks. I'm working on a few ideas of late, but nothing recorded or anything yet.

Meatplow 02-24-2010 10:22 PM
Is The Standoffish Cat worth downloading?
Yes.

I thought you had heard it.

Aaron 02-24-2010 10:23 PM

I've myspaced it a few times; enough to rate it on sputnik at least, lol. Will grab it tonight.

EDIT: actually, maybe it's on one of my other laptops. Hmm.

Meatplow 02-25-2010 03:57 PM

Don't hide it, provide it!

Meatplow 02-25-2010 07:36 PM

is Oversteps out?

there is a well known transcoded fake that has been floating around the web for months

Txus 02-25-2010 07:53 PM

I got the real thing.

I can send it to you if you'd like.

Been listening to bunch of SPK today btw, amazing project.

Meatplow 02-25-2010 08:13 PM

It's cool man, i'm on it. Thanks though.

Yeah SPK is great.

Txus 02-25-2010 08:24 PM

Np bb.

And yes, they rule. Do you like Propergol?

Meatplow 02-25-2010 08:39 PM

It's the first i've heard of them. What should I listen to?

Txus 02-25-2010 08:45 PM

Uhm, they are like the perfect blend of power electronics and dark ambient. Start with Renegade, but most of the stuff I have from them is really top notch.

Meatplow 02-25-2010 08:50 PM

Sweet.

You should check out that Break Your Face comp I put on my blog.

Txus 02-25-2010 08:52 PM

Slogun <3

Will definitely get that right now, haven't heard the other bands.

Jaundice 02-25-2010 09:15 PM
Don't hide it, provide it!
probably the best industrial rock song

Meatplow 02-25-2010 11:05 PM
probably the best industrial rock song
it's awesome, but probably something by KMFDM for me

Jaundice 02-26-2010 01:47 PM

Sordide Sentimental interview in Industrial Culture is one of the more interesting ones

Meatplow 02-26-2010 01:51 PM

what did you make of Mark Pauline?

Jaundice 02-26-2010 01:53 PM

haven't gotten to it yet, just throbbing gristle, monte, sordide, johanna went and NON

most people had some interesting things to say except maybe for cazazza and p-orridge

Meatplow 02-26-2010 02:17 PM

Pauline was the most interesting to me, mainly because he didn't really have anything to do with music at all he just made cool destructive machines out of stolen parts and dead rabbits for performance art.

Boyd Rice's section was good. I want to read these RE/Search publications, he had some level of involvement -

Jaundice 02-26-2010 02:31 PM

Boyd Rice had some cool insights about music

Johanna Went is best tho, everything she said made me lol

Txus 02-26-2010 02:51 PM

What are you guys talking about? Documentary or what?

I saw one about noise music not too long ago, it was decent.

Jaundice 02-26-2010 02:55 PM

RouteOne 02-26-2010 02:58 PM

that looks like a cool read

anyone into darker stuff like Gnaw their tongues?

Txus 02-26-2010 03:04 PM

Yeah, me. You should check out Grunt, Ronald.

Gnaw Their Tongues are above eliteness, his new album(All the Dread Magnificence of Perversity) was incredible, definitely his best stuff to date. The dude's black metal band is also pretty good.

RouteOne 02-26-2010 03:12 PM

I actually didn't know he had a BM band

Txus 02-26-2010 03:21 PM

What did you think of All the Dread Magnificence of Perversity? I thought it was a big progression for him and I like the path he is taking with music right now. The production on that album is perfect.

His BM project is called De Magia Veterum, I only have one album but it's pretty neat.

I basically think the same thing. I can't wait for his new split to come out.

I'll check out his band too
