thunderzstruck 07-27-2005 09:50 PM
It has 2 out of about 9. (I don't like thunderstuck. It's icky). Include thuderstuck and it's 3, and that's still not very good.
I like

thunderstruck
fire your guns is alright
Moneytalks (REALLY good song)
Razors Edge is a cool song
Are you ready

BludgeonySteve 07-27-2005 10:01 PM

Oh fine

thunderstruck (maybe! most bon scott songs kick its *** though)
Moneytalks
Razors Edge
fire your guns

4 out of 12 and the rest is filler.

rippa32 07-28-2005 02:52 AM

Brian Johnson is good, and I am not a fanboy. Just because Bon is better doesnt mean Johnson should be ruled out.

Bon_Scottie 07-28-2005 03:59 AM

Johnson has a lot of good tunes, whether vocals are good or not. I like some of the under rated work, such as Playing with Girls, and Shake your foundations.

Right, here's question... who do you think would fit the role of AC/DC vocals?

I personally think the guy from Aerosmith would suit the band. Not as in charactor, but I think the voice would go well. If Angus and Malcolm wrote the lyrics, that is. None of that pink finger licking ****e.

rippa32 07-28-2005 04:14 AM

I reckon its great the way it is. No one could could replace Bon and Brian didn't try to, but then again no-one could replace Johnson either.

Follow The Reaper 07-28-2005 01:59 PM

I think it would be interesting if Brian didn't sing on an album, and the rest of AC/DC did an instrumental.

AB/CD 07-28-2005 03:54 PM

they have done instrumentals and they r ****e AC/DC need vocals

Follow The Reaper 07-28-2005 03:56 PM

Which instrumental are you talking about.

Silenius 07-28-2005 03:57 PM
they have done instrumentals and they r ****e AC/DC need vocals
Really on what cd? I have 10 cds from them with no instrumentals.

AB/CD 07-28-2005 04:03 PM

DT and i cant remember hte other 1 now they r on the who made who album they arent half bad but they dont have the same power without brians vocals backing up the guitars

Follow The Reaper 07-28-2005 04:06 PM

AB/CD 07-28-2005 04:10 PM

u havnt heard DT?

Follow The Reaper 07-28-2005 04:11 PM

BludgeonySteve 07-28-2005 04:12 PM

Follow The Reaper 07-29-2005 10:03 PM

They have to realease the album first.

Bon_Scottie 07-30-2005 04:52 PM

On Friday, we've got two AC/DC tribute bands in the live arena.

One of them is well known, Live wire.

Looking forward to it. Nine quid a ticket.

Follow The Reaper 07-30-2005 04:53 PM

I can't swtand Live Wire, they suck ***.

Dr. Killgreedy 07-30-2005 05:18 PM

i dont like live wire either.

Follow The Reaper 07-30-2005 05:19 PM

I mainly don't like the guy who is supposed to be Malcolm, he is the biggest ******* ever.

Dr. Killgreedy 07-30-2005 05:23 PM

off topic but how old is angus? isnt he like 83, 84? i had heard at several of his last shows his great grandkids were there.

Follow The Reaper 07-30-2005 05:25 PM

rippa32 08-01-2005 05:56 AM

Follow The Reaper 08-01-2005 03:39 PM

Go to the official AC/DC site, then go to message board, then to the first or second thread. And don't type in red font, it's almost impossible to read.
Angus is 50, for the idiot who said 83, 84.
hehe, if he was 83 he wouldn't be playing rock and roll right now.

classicrockman 08-01-2005 04:11 PM
hehe, if he was 83 he wouldn't be playing rock and roll right now.
Or maybe he would!! I know like Clapton and the Stones and those guys are in their 60's. And BB King (who's on tour) is 79!!! :amaze:

But all of those guy's music has become less heavy.

Brewer14 08-01-2005 05:24 PM
hehe, if he was 83 he wouldn't be playing rock and roll right now.
Ah, knowing Angus, he still would be.

BassMasta2487 08-01-2005 06:07 PM

Angus has said in interviews that he actually had no idea about the names of chords until Malcolm would tell him what they were. But I don't think there's ever been any question about him being a better guitar player.

rippa32 08-01-2005 09:47 PM

What just because he plays lead? I would like to hear how well Malcolm plays lead before judging them both.

Dr. Killgreedy 08-01-2005 09:51 PM

i never said angus was 83 i said i read an article in guitar world called "fact or myth" and it said most people think angus is around 50 but in fact thats how old the schoolboy outfit he wears is. it said angus was 83 but i didnt believe that, that's why i asked yall. so i know angus isnt 83.

Follow The Reaper 08-01-2005 09:55 PM
Angus has said in interviews that he actually had no idea about the names of chords until Malcolm would tell him what they were. But I don't think there's ever been any question about him being a better guitar player.
I think that they are both equal guitar players, or maybe even Malcolm better then Angus. Angus even admits that.
What just because he plays lead? I would like to hear how well Malcolm plays lead before judging them both.
Angus has said many times that Malcolm has played lead in the studio, and Angus has had to play what Malcolm did, and Angus has said that Malcolm can do them on first tries, when it takes him all day sometimes.

rippa32 08-01-2005 10:08 PM

I havn't heard about the second comment but I suppose that's why Angus says Malcolm is better.

BassMasta2487 08-02-2005 07:06 AM

Well, the story goes that Malcolm was going to play lead, but he told Angus to do it because playin lead would interfere with his drinking. And considering that he taught Angus guitar...

ledzeprock 08-02-2005 07:57 AM
All of their songs sound exactly the same to me.
