Any one got any info on the band Drift? They sound just like One Eyed God Prophecy and I think they're Canadian as well. I can't find any info about them at all.

You probably have the City of Caterpillar s/t but if you like that you should really like the Love Lost But Not Forgotten s/t. |
Nope, I don't have any emo/screamo (besides as the roots undo), which is why I asked (want to get into some). I'll check out both of those.
Certainly Love Lost But Not Forgotten "Upon the Right I Saw a New Misery", Raein "Il N'y a Pass de Orchestre", The Khayembii Communique discography and Amanda Woodward "La Décadence De La Décadence".

oops - that's the album I meant to say. I was rushing when I posted... Ya, two other excellent emo/screamo albums are "Envy - A Dead Sinking Story" and "Orchid - Chaos Is Me". |
Gospel - The Moon Is a Dead World
this is a must have. amazing album. you will also be surprised at how good the drums are too |
cheers guys
just listen to Rites Of Spring and The Hated
Hot Cross' Risk Revival and Cryonics if you're trying to get into emo/screamo.
just listen to Cryonics for Hot Cross though.
The best emo/screamo stuff to get is:
Neil Perry - Lineage Situation Orchid - Chaos Is Me The Vida Blue/Khayembii Communique split Song Of Zarathustra - Birth Of Tragedy I Hate Myself - 10 Songs Hassan I Sabbah - Discography I'm sure I'm forgetting stuff. I'm pretty high right now. |
also get the Uranus - To This Bearer Of Truth discography and the One Eyed God Prophecy s/t
Whoever said get Upon the Right, I Saw A New Misery gtfo. The Love Lost But Not Forgotten s/t is way better.
Get Chaos is Me, the Saetia discography, Moss Icon- Lyburnum, Julia's self titled, |
How did I forget Saetia? Yeah they are so good. Cowboys Became Folk Heroes, Jerome's Dream, and Joshua Fit For Battle is all good ****, too.
I always forget JFFB but goddamn, To Bring Our Own End is still one of the most overall solid emo records ever.
Agreed. Sleepwalker's Guide and **** The Men In Her Life are amazing songs.
Welcome The Plague Year - s/t LP is ****ing crucial.
