WAHHH. my bands recording a 4 track EP with an engineer from the cutting room. my drummer was laying down some tracks there for one of his old bands as a favor, and brought some of our recordings, and they loved it. they said "we need to get these guys in." right now it would cost 50 bucks an hour becuase they're booked solid, but my guitarist is good friends with one of the main engineers. So he's going to come to my house (our practice space) sometime this month with a bunch of really good mics, preamps, and recording stuff, and do it for free. we will then go there and mix+master it.

check out their list of clients. the chilipeppers have recorded there, as well as aerosmith, and a bunch of other huge bands.

The Brad 10-02-2006 01:58 AM

mastrrbasser 10-02-2006 02:00 AM

The Brad 10-02-2006 02:00 AM

mastrrbasser 10-02-2006 02:01 AM

that was really good, if anyone took it seriously though heads would roll.

this is the kind of thing me and my other friends plan to do in FTV next year

mastrrbasser 10-02-2006 02:31 AM

hah yeah. it's all meant for good fun. becuase the title leads people to think, oh man this is how men use women to do things they don't want to do. but they're literally using them. the whole "women are objects" thing is taken in a very very literal sense. if anybody does take it seriously, they should get shot in the forehead.

That was funny, but only to a certain extent. It was just too long, and became old and tiring after a while.

Jimbobntnr 10-02-2006 08:27 AM

does anyone remember who wanted to trade a schecter for a jazz?

The Brad 10-02-2006 08:58 AM

mastrrbasser 10-02-2006 09:06 AM

Jimbobntnr 10-02-2006 09:09 AM

The Brad 10-02-2006 09:10 AM

Already unhappy with your new j?

Jimbobntnr 10-02-2006 09:11 AM

haha. I'm probably just going to polish it and sell it. I bought it because he was local and accepted that Hartke in trade.

The Brad 10-02-2006 09:35 AM

Word of advice, sell it stock.
I've had a harder time selling basses I have upgraded.

Jimbobntnr 10-02-2006 09:41 AM

will do. For some reason the last one that I traded was exactly what the guy was looking for.

Mr. Pickle 10-02-2006 10:17 AM

The Brad 10-02-2006 10:19 AM
