I don't like the "There's no screaming...it must suck" attitude. However I am a big fan of screaming myself, but i'm just saying it could still be an amazing album even though there isn't any screaming.

I wonder if Trivium will get on TRL, since they dropped the screaming.

I can't wait for the new album. I'm probably going to pick up the re-release of Ascendancy soon for that live set and videos :)

I'm of the opinion that screaming is just another vocal method like rasping, rapping and so on. To me, when used effectively it can really make a song good, unfortunately when used badly it can make a song seriously suck. So, if the new Trivium album has no screaming I won't exactly be up in arms about it as long as they use vocals that actually fit the song.

I'm listening to Aftershock, and the intro to [I]Apparitional State[/I] sounded [I]really[/I] familiar. Then I am like... wait... and I turn on [I]Rain[/I] and go to the part where Matt's like 'Swallow every blasphemy,' and I'm just like, yay for Trivium, way to rip off Aftershock.

If you are talking about what i said, I didn't mean it like that. I like some bands that don't scream, but when a band changes their music drastically, many times it doesn't come out too good. And although the lines Heafy doesn't scream are usually good, I just can't imagine him singing like that the whole time. I just don't think I would like that type of Trivium. I guess we'll just have to wait then and see if this album is way more kick a$$ than the rest, like Paolo said.

I hope its not using the same recycled riffs as on Ascendancy.

Anyway, I really hope the new album isn't reflectant of Heafy's vocal problems.....that would ruin everything that they've gotten better at.
