I've been listening to these bands lately, let me know what you think.

A Light in the Attic, http://www.alightintheattic.net/
Funeral Diner, http://www.funeraldiner.com/
Takaru, http://www.takaru.com/

shane italian 09-04-2004 12:42 AM

Fineral Diner are good stuff. Good example of emo.

syrUsbilt 09-04-2004 12:59 AM

shane shut up

BuddyBigsby 09-04-2004 01:10 AM

but Funeral Diner ARE very good.

Anyone like Albert React? They're really good for the whole poppy-rock / "emocore" thing. Like if new Underoath were good, they would sound like Albert React.

shane italian 09-04-2004 01:23 AM

Albert React suck........JUST LIKE YOU DO AT GIVING HEAD!

cbmartinez 09-04-2004 10:50 AM

I've heard a little Albert React. Sounded good. Their's a lame FA on them in Pop-Punk.

NewKindofArmy03 09-04-2004 10:58 AM

all else failed put on a really good show last night. instead of buying their cd though, i got the shark attack discography.

cbmartinez 09-04-2004 11:03 AM

I just saw something in Alt. and Indie about a band called Supermachiner, which is Converge's side project. Anyone know about this?

CatInLeatherPants 09-04-2004 11:55 AM

NewKindOfArmy -- you were at the show? what do you look like? O.-

BuddyBigsby 09-04-2004 12:12 PM

I HATE YOU PEOPLE AND YOUR BEING ABLE TO SEE MY BELOVED AEF

Cb: I've heard of Supermachiner. I think it's just the bassist though. There's a bunch of Converge seide projects.
Albert React suck........JUST LIKE YOU DO AT GIVING HEAD!
I met those dudes in a hotal after Hellfest 2k3. They're cool because they gave me a free t-shirt and I never even heard their band.

CatInLeatherPants 09-04-2004 12:23 PM

i was the kid with a plaid overshirt, blue hair, a God Awfuls shirt, and jeans with holes and patches, and i probably looked like i was gonna pass out. i got like no sleep the night before. it was pretty lame, because that show had amazing energy and i wish i coulda been like...more of a part of it.

NewKindofArmy03 09-04-2004 12:26 PM

oh, i saw you sitting on the speaker during that emo band. yeah, i didn't do much either, because i didn't know many songs. all else failed was amazing though, and heidnik played really good too.

CatInLeatherPants 09-04-2004 12:29 PM

yeah, they were great.

shane italian 09-04-2004 12:32 PM
