Get some of the older songs.
My rankings of the albums, 1. Hatebreeder--- 10 2. Something Wild---9.7 3. Hate Crew Deathroll---9.0 4. Tokyo Warhearts ---8.9 5. Follow The Reaper --- 8.0 6. AYDY ---7.5 Being ranked 6th is a bad thing.
Fixed. AYDY was pretty awful. I know Alexi hurt his arm and all, but that doesn't mean that he had to totally Americanize his sound. |
American =/= bad.

i agree
American =/= bad.
American = bad i can't think of any american band, who got famous in the last five years and is good. only the older bands are awesome, but the newer ones are crap. |
America has plently of fantastic underground bands.
both bands exist a long time... i said, the last five years or so.
actually, you said POPULAR in the last 5 years... hence making it even more closed-minded :D |
i agree but dream theater is pretty good did any1 from Conneticut go to the cob concert at toads place new haven??
so in other words, that was a ridiculous statement :thumb:
You are correct, sir! |
/takes a bow
You could easily say the pop music the states that plagues the radio is primarily crap, but to say ALL music... i think you can see where im going with this :p |
I don't see how someone can call a LOT of stuff coming out these days, metal-wise, crap. I mean, Shadows fall may not be thrash, but they do make some great music, you can't deny that. Lamb of God as well. many of the bands in the "mainstream" today are only getting so much flak because of their popularity. At least I think that's the case.
|
Question from a while back, but what the hell. The first song I heard from bodom was Sixpounder. After hearing that I downloaded quite a bit of bodom.
|
Hey, I just did a Silent Night Bodom Night cover, tell me what you guys think. (I havn't added the solo yet. Some parts are sloppy but I'm too lazy to fix them, like out of bends and stuff.)

Well thats what you get when you plug your guitar into a Death Metal Distortion and then straight into the computer. :p

oh :lol: this explains everything :thumb: |
It was average. As you say, most bends were out and the sweep picking section needs a bit of work.
|
It was average. As you say, most bends were out and the sweep picking section needs a bit of work.
Yeah, I'll fix the bends later. The sweep section was done first try without any warm-up, I'll go back later and do it. Btw: I learned half the parts right before recording them. :lol: |
Hardly anyone can play that sweep section right because the phrasing of it is diffferent to most sweep exercises that exist.
e-----15-19-15---------- b-17-------------17----- g--------------------16-- The high B is the 3rd note in a triplet and usually you'll find it at the start of a triplet. |
