I agree, but Moontower is ace.
Really? You don't like Crimson or Purgatory Afterglow?

Haven't listened to Moontower in ages, so I am doing so now, it sounds waaay better than I remember it.

Malfeitor 09-15-2008 05:38 AM

keyboardmosh 09-15-2008 07:59 AM

you ever drank bailey's out of a shoe?

Dimmu Burger 09-15-2008 08:24 AM

The new Psycroptic is decent.

Thor 09-15-2008 09:19 AM

I couldn't get past the vocals on Symbols of Failure

DBlitz 09-15-2008 09:42 AM

They weren't too bad on Symbols of Failure, its worse on the new one imo. Scepters has amazing vocals though.
Currently listening to Atrocity:

anybody like Liers In Wait's Spiritually Uncontrolled Art? it was released in 1996 and was their only album. i liked it
yes, its very good. i wish they would have released more. you should check out grotesque if you like them.
EDIT: i'm wondering if there's another Liers In Wait cause i stumbled upon this a while back. if it is the swedish one then maybe they went nazi.

Does anyone else here like Odious Mortem?

pate 09-15-2008 02:56 PM

A little

Thor 09-15-2008 02:57 PM

Yeah I kinda like Cryptic Implosion, though it's very monotonous as a whole.

hey there, just wanted to say im going to see carcass tomorrow!

RouteOne 09-15-2008 10:03 PM

Its going to be such an awesome show and i'm going to miss it. *sniffle*

dUSK 09-15-2008 10:06 PM

Heh, I just purchased a ticket to see Carcass yesterday. Have to wait another month though.

RouteOne 09-15-2008 10:08 PM

Hardly any good bands come up here, sort of blows.

Angmar 09-15-2008 10:09 PM

I was pretty surprised Carcass came here, Washington seems to be the state lots of bands overlook.

rasputin 09-15-2008 10:12 PM

Carcass are even coming out here. I was tempted to go see them, but I decided I'd rather not pay 60 bucks for it. I only have Heartwork, and they'd play a few songs from there at most.

Angmar 09-15-2008 10:16 PM

What? Their setlist consists of tons of Heartwork material, it's their defining album in their career.

beans 09-15-2008 10:51 PM
I was pretty surprised Carcass came here, Washington seems to be the state lots of bands overlook.
nah man a lot of bands make it to washington

oregon misses a lot of good **** though
makes me sad :(

rasputin 09-15-2008 11:50 PM
What? Their setlist consists of tons of Heartwork material, it's their defining album in their career.
Well yeah, but they'll still play a lot of other stuff, and I don't think it's worth it/can't be bothered.

Txus 09-16-2008 12:00 AM

WHAT THE ****? the other stuff is better!!

beans 09-16-2008 12:20 AM

idk man heartwork is my jam

McP3000 09-16-2008 12:21 AM
WHAT THE ****? the other stuff is better!!
i agree
Heartwork was pretty disappointing

beans 09-16-2008 12:23 AM

blasphemy

rasputin 09-16-2008 12:26 AM
WHAT THE ****? the other stuff is better!!
yeah but I haven't heard any of it, that's the point

Tyler 09-16-2008 12:27 AM

Heartwork is fittingly enough kind of heartless. It's fine musically and technically but idk it lacks any sense of like, passion and stuff.

rasputin 09-16-2008 01:19 AM

gotta have dem passion

Tyler 09-16-2008 01:21 AM

i know it sounds pretty gay but to me it just doesnt have that sorta it factor yknow

Txus 09-16-2008 01:26 AM

I mean, Heartwork is one of the few melo death albums I like very much, it's a good album and all that jazz. But you just CAN'T compare Heartwork with Necroticism or Symphonies Of Sickness. It's just unacceptable.

McP3000 09-16-2008 01:59 AM

Necroticism definitely has an awesome concept

FatalEnergy 09-16-2008 03:43 AM

I like all their albums. Symphonies still is my favorite, but I dig even Swansong every once in a while.
