Yup, but I'm pretty sure you'd get some kind of answer from Cort. Their name is on the bass anyways.... It won't hurt to try, although they will probably tell you to Email Greg about it...

Crapdragoon 10-27-2004 10:16 PM

bleeeee

so i wanna get a bigger amp i was thinking something atleast 100 watts, has anyone played the berrhinger 120 combo?

iceman3019 10-27-2004 10:18 PM

meh . . . i'll be happy with a non-custom cort curbow 6, since the only custom features i really wanted was a quad-coil pickup with coil splitting and an active/passive switch and an ABM bass bridge instead of the stock . . . i can make the upgrades myself really, or i can pay the guitar tech dude at guitar center to do it for me :thumb: . . .

Saitoku 10-27-2004 10:21 PM

Go Sox!

i own the fender rumble 100
its pretty good, depends on what you want to do though.
i play with a guitarist who has a 2x12 and i turn up my volume as loud as he does...if that helps.

ScorpSath 10-27-2004 10:26 PM

Stupid Sox!!!

Crapdragoon 10-27-2004 10:26 PM

can you be heard over a drummer ok?

PaulSimonon 10-27-2004 10:27 PM

if you have to turn the volume knob over half-way to be heard, it's time for a new amp . . .

liar.

iceman3019 10-27-2004 10:34 PM

he must get a boatloads of distortion then . . .

PaulSimonon 10-27-2004 10:35 PM
liar.
Nope. It doesn't overpower him, but I can be heard. It's rated very conservatively for a fifteen, blows my guitarist's 27 watt amp out of the water. Trace Eliott is the shit!

Not too much, but yes, some. Not terrible amounts though.

iceman3019 10-27-2004 10:42 PM

when i turn my 10 watt crate mxb15 to be heard in my band, i can turn my boss odb-3 bass overdrive off . . .

ocdrumandbass 10-27-2004 11:29 PM

sometimes i get the feeling that my band is unbelieveably loud compared with some people here. we have two guitarists at 120W each, my bass at 170W and a drummer. am i missing something?

ScorpSath 10-27-2004 11:38 PM

I've been up so late doing homework haven't eaten and now yay, 4 hours of sleep! Nite mx.

iceman3019 10-27-2004 11:44 PM

gaslight 10-28-2004 03:46 AM

Guitarist at 80W, me at 100W, drummer.

We don't go near full volume.

Other band, I don't know.

gaslight 10-28-2004 03:47 AM

Alright, my bass is back :D.

And I am ordering a pizza for dinner.

blizzard 10-28-2004 03:49 AM

guitarist at 65W, rythym at 50W, singer/rythym rythym at 30W or 100W depends on which amp he uses and me at 60W but the lead is afraid to turn his amp up past about 4 so i don't even have to turn my amp up to half way

popinfresh 10-28-2004 04:03 AM

dont let it get you down young fella :thumb:

blizzard 10-28-2004 05:09 AM

the singer doesn't play that much and the drummers kit is muted ie. fabric to dampen the cymbals and so on

FUNKNBASS 10-28-2004 05:33 AM

Hey everyone. I decided to get a refund for my Conk and buy another one in a bit.

ocdrumandbass 10-28-2004 05:44 AM
My rigs 300. Soon to be 900 watt power amp and a megalioth. Guitarists on a 150watters. Marshal cab, vox head. And all fender deluxe.

no.
why on earth do you need 900W????

FUNKNBASS 10-28-2004 05:46 AM

I need high wattage to have sound and clarity in the mix.

popinfresh 10-28-2004 05:48 AM

FUNKN... why?

oc: Headroom.. I might be getting a goliath III as well...

popinfresh 10-28-2004 05:49 AM

omg.. I couldn't be happier right now.. I finally decided to get off my *** and try double thumbing.. I've gotten the classical thump intro roughly half speed, maybe a little but more in like... 30 mins.. lol.

FUNKNBASS 10-28-2004 05:50 AM
FUNKN... why?

oc: Headroom.. I might be getting a goliath II as well...
Why what?

popinfresh 10-28-2004 05:54 AM
Why what?
Refund your conk..

Cos of the neck damage thing?

FUNKNBASS 10-28-2004 05:57 AM

Yeah, the neck was pretty F'd up. Plus thier was a crack 4 inches long and getting bigger on the underside of the fretboard. Repairing it would be a long difficult process so i decided to just get a refund and either wait for a new shippment to come in or buy a different bass.
