I think it's rather funny, actually.

Actually, now you've lost your grim tr00ness. You're an outcast.

Shadows 02-20-2006 05:55 PM

I swear, I didn't do this. :( I'm not that uncoordinated with MS paint. and I definitely wouldn't have out the "LOL!" at the bottom.

Shadows 02-20-2006 06:28 PM

This is not the one I asked him to change it to.

I've saved a screenshot of this though. Leah will think it's damn funy, because it is. :)
Hehe, it's your reward for winning RMOTM :p
No ones going to want to win any more. People will strive to be bad posters.

Hehe, yeah.
I'm on a huge Send more paramedics Binge ATM.

Shall "Refrigerate after opened" be in the list?

Lord Abortion 02-20-2006 06:52 PM

And "Do not stand in front of this notice or distract the bus driver without good cause"

Jom 02-20-2006 06:57 PM
And "Do not stand in front of this notice or distract the bus driver without good cause"
Actual warning labels on products:

On Sears hairdryer: Do not use while sleeping. (That's the only time I have to work on my hair, wtflolz)

On a bag of Fritos: You could be a winner! No purchase necessary. Details inside. (The shoplifter special amirite)

On a bar of Dial soap: Directions: Use like regular soap. (derrhrrhrr...)

On some Swann frozen dinners: Serving suggestion: Defrost. (But it's "just" a suggestion, you know...)

On Tesco's Tiramisu dessert: (printed on bottom of the box) Do not turn upside down. (Oh, you lose!)

On Marks & Spencer Bread Pudding: Product will be hot after heating. (No... ya don't say!)

On packaging for a Rowenta iron: Do not iron clothes on body. (But this saves me so much time in the morning...)

On Boot's Children's cough medicine: Do not drive car or operate machinery. (We could do a lot to reduce those darn construction accidents if we just kept those five year-olds off those damn fork lifts.)

On Nytol sleep aid: Warning: may cause drowsiness. (No...)

On a Korean kitchen knife: Warning: keep out of children. (Lost in translation, yes? Yes.)

On a string of Christmas lights: For indoor or outdoor use only. (As opposed to... where?)

On a food processor: Not to be used for the other use. (/curious)

On Sainsbury's peanuts: Warning: contains nuts. (derrhrrhrr...)

On an American Airlines packet of nuts: Instructions: open packet, eat nuts. (The guy who wrote this is rollin' in the dough)

On a Swedish chainsaw: Do not attempt to stop chain with your hands. (Raise your hand if you've tried this... oh, teehee, I r teh funni)

On a child's Superman costume: Wearing of this garment does not enable you to fly (But if you don't like that bratty neighbor, suggest that he jump off the roof anyway).

NP: HORSE The Band - "The House of Boo"

Lord Abortion 02-20-2006 06:58 PM

You have that stupidest signs book too, eh?

TojesDolan 02-20-2006 07:19 PM
On a string of Christmas lights: For indoor or outdoor use only. (As opposed to... where?)
Underwater.

I've always been quite amused by the way some products mark the instructions of use... well, almost all products... I suppose it has something to do with all the wicked lawsuits companies get.

Like that one cigarette companies had because they "never mentioned it was unhealthy to do so". hmmm. Indeed.

Jom 02-20-2006 07:24 PM

But that can be done inside or outside :Neo:

Indeed. I was thinking about other dimensions but I'd be stretching out the joke waaay too far. As I've done up to this point. And now. And now.

Anyhow, and on a completely unrelated note, and with absolutely zero direction, I just checked out the new sputnik color... kinda neat. :)

EDIT: I just saw this at Sputnik. I lol'd a bit.

This user has not deigned to grace us with album selections. Perhaps he/she thinks they are too cool, or perhaps they are just lazy. In any case, a great loss

Heh, disclaimers.

nobodyblossomsforever 02-20-2006 07:54 PM

(Hi guys! It's me! The only guy in these whole forums who likes Zack De La Rocha!)

Being on topic, I prefer the darker one. The grey one's just to bright IMO.

Lord Abortion 02-20-2006 08:03 PM

I'm making a freewebs site...should keep me occupied for a time...

Shattered_Future 02-20-2006 08:10 PM

Whoa...MX is crazy bright now.

Even though it's late,   at Ben for his new avatar.

Cain 02-20-2006 08:10 PM

I'm watching Amadeus right now.

Here is a movie that manages to speak of music as beautifully as the music itself. I never was able to appreciate classical on this level before, as the most famous themes are used, reused, over and over and absorbed in the public consciousness, but this movie's script does a great job of transmitting Salieri's appreciation to that of the viewer.

Great film, great story.

I think it's time for Jason to change it back to the one I asked for. Even though this one is funny. :)
