Anyone hear the news about Tabs being Prohibited? Kinda sucks.

puppet.master 12-15-2005 09:33 PM

ya i heard about it

pretty **** tastic

there will be some loophole thou

we could say

its not the actuall song just our interpretation or some**** like that

Futuro 12-15-2005 09:36 PM
its not the actuall song just our interpretation or some**** like that
That is why I think it wont work. Most tabs already have a disclaimer. But then again that means we could upload songs from albums if we add one second of silence at the beggining (Not the song on album)

Win A Rabbit 12-15-2005 09:37 PM

ooh, i found some old pictures of myself. not really old, half a year or so. back when i had long-er hair. drunk of course. i don't think i have a sober picture of myself other than i.d.

my laundry's almost done washing, then i can put it in the dryer!!!

tomorrow i'm going to rise against, and i work 16 hours this weekend. yay. get paid tuesday, $400. yay again.

Jomofo 12-15-2005 09:38 PM

What? No Tabs? What? What?

crazyguy832 12-15-2005 09:40 PM

This tab crap is BS. I mean, seriously, it's not like the artist isn't getting credit. And the person who can tab it often tabs it because he/she wants to play it in the first place. If they stop tab sharing, well, then it may become like the P2P music network.

*shrugs*

Who knows, all I know is that it's just incredibly freaking stupid.

puppet.master 12-15-2005 10:10 PM

ya the whole uproar is retarded

im also suprised that record lables havnt found someway to encrypt the media on cds so it cant be ripped

you hear bands like metallica n **** bitching about their media getting stolen and theres the technology to make it way harder but they dont do it

WTF IS UP WITH THAT

i mean somone could hack it but it would prolly stop most ppl

Rise Against is my newest found band, they are pretty good. I didn't think I liked music like that I'm more for softer rock with no harsh vocals at all.

Panopticon 12-15-2005 10:19 PM
We had koi karp in our pond. My sister turned the pump off. They all died. My sister has been a vegetarian since she was 7 years old because she can't stand the thought of hurting animals....

She's now 22.
I find vegetarianism or whatever stupid...does anyone realize...that if everyone was a vegetarian, then everyone would eat plants...the plants that animals eat...so then those animals would die...they should just face the facts...animals were just dealt a shitty hand in the game of life and can't do anything about it...

And another thing...what about all the moles, and rats and birds that get killed in a thresher or w/e in the harvesting of wheat and corn?...

Double Bass Jim 12-15-2005 10:28 PM

Yea I never bought the vegan deal IMO it's bogus... We've been eating meat since the dawn of man we're designed to eat meats.

Guys who go out and hunt bears and big game though I have zero respect for. I can't imagine gunning down a creature like that. Real hunting is about survival and making ends meet out in the wilderness when you have nothing else. You see these goofy hillbillys with big stuffed bears and things like that and it's sickening. They don't use any of the bear they only use it as a trophy to show off to their other pencil dicked friends.

The Ska Man 12-15-2005 10:30 PM

I've never really approved of guns at all. Maybe I'm just too big a LOTR freak....Still, swords are awesome.

Panopticon 12-15-2005 10:31 PM

i believe the term is "needle-dick" jim...and yeah...for example...my uncle goes hunting pretty often...He hunts moose and caribou, but he eats them...he doesnt put them on the wall...stuff like that is just sick...and pretty ugly...

poppinfresh 12-15-2005 10:32 PM

ok what. no one cares about my day. ok whatever, i hate you guys. im going to go do some trigonometric proofs.

Win A Rabbit 12-15-2005 10:37 PM

i've had on/off affairs with the band for a few years now. i got the tickets when i was into one of my peaks with them, since then i've lost a bit of interest. should still be a good concert though.

i just came up with the coolest little jingle thing on piano, it's so evil yet happy at the same time, like the theme music for a clown that looks way too happy to be innocent. i've played it over and over 100 times now. i like doing this.

i'm off to bed right away though, seeing as i've had almost no sleep all week, and i really could go for a good night's sleep.

Brokensticks 12-15-2005 10:37 PM

I agree with you Punkdrummer the world would be a much better place if it was still swords and bows. Honestly, if people wanted to have a war, it would actually take skill, I mean you could give a 8 year old a pistol and tell him to pull the trigger, but can a 8 year old wield a sword? hell no!

The whole vegetarian thing I think is dumb too, we need meat, I for one am a carnivore and don't like vegetables much. I would die without meat.
