Third Eye Blind rule. That's a solid as hell lineup, dude. My school got Ludacris, Virginia Coalition, and The Dance Party.

The ****ing Dance Party.

Liebensaft 05-06-2009 12:02 PM

I thought it was more funny than anything else. There were people who clearly thought that Third Eye Blind was the coolest thing ever, banging their heads and doing the lighter thing and all. It was great.

Kelly Clarkson was painful. I intentionally got there late enough to miss The Veronicas.

Liebensaft 05-06-2009 03:49 PM

Hahahaha. Alright.

easylee 05-06-2009 04:38 PM

kelly clarkson sure isn't the gaslight anthem

you didnt tell me about this, wtf

Liebensaft 05-08-2009 05:01 PM

The event? You'd have to be pretty oblivious to not realize that it was happening. I'm sorry I didn't recount the kind of lame story for you though.

okay 05-08-2009 06:01 PM

im pretty oblivious. plus i dont live on campus, so is it that out of the question that i could have missed hearing about this?

Liebensaft 05-08-2009 06:48 PM

Oh, really? I guess it's possible, I dunno. Living on-campus and seeing the huge signs, listening to Tucson radio in the bathroom, and reading the Daily Wildcat during most chemistry classes made me pretty aware.

samarahah 05-09-2009 07:31 AM

are there going to be any good shows in phoenix between like the 20th-25th?

samarahah 05-09-2009 07:31 AM

Anxious 05-12-2009 06:59 PM

We live in Tucson. Well, I go to school there and plan to be home in Pennsylvania on Saturday. My colleague, on the other hand, lives here. Phoenix is around 100 miles north, so it's like two hours away. I only went there once without being in an airport.

Liebensaft 05-14-2009 12:54 PM

School is over. Donzo. I'm leaving Saturday. I'm so happy.

perriwinkle 05-14-2009 02:09 PM

nice. i finished yesterday. today i went on google earth and found a nice lookin mountain south of Blacksburg, plotted a path, then biked it and chilled up in the forest for a while exploring and stuff. it was pretty awsome. i was really hoping i didn't encounter a bear, because then i might die. now i'm at the radio station subbing someone's show. last couple things i put on were Electric Wizard, John Coltrane, Scientists, and now Stereolab. http://www.wuvt.vt.edu/listenlive if anyone wants to listen in and hear my sexy voice speaking to you and playing you a song or something

Liebensaft 05-14-2009 11:50 PM

too late

Anxious 05-15-2009 12:22 AM

I want to give a girl the time of day.

Liebensaft 05-15-2009 02:22 AM

Write your number on a napkin or print fake business cards. Or get a puppy. That's a guaranteed winner.

Anxious 05-15-2009 02:53 AM

Hmm, what would the business cards say?

Glitterati 05-15-2009 04:25 AM

I'm sure they will. They played a version of Fireworks/Essplode with this 5 minute long interlude between the bridge and the last chorus... amazing.

Glitterati 05-16-2009 10:30 AM
Or "I am very experienced at lovemaking."
When I read that I imagined a short Japanese man reading that out loud using halted speech.
