I only heard one of Katharsis' early demos and it was okay. I never listen to it.

rasputin 12-11-2008 07:44 PM

Anyone else like Panopticon's self titled? Listening for the first time now, it seems pretty good.

anyone into dawn?

Tyler 12-11-2008 09:45 PM

I have one album, Slaughtersun or something. I had it, I mean. I remember it being decent but I also never had the urge to ever play it again.

i had nar solen gar nider for evogher from them (the swedish one i assume idk if there are others) i think thats what its called and i liked it at one point then got tired of how overly melodic it is. if you like them you would probably like carpathian full moon though, they're melodic too but in a more doom-y direction.

EDIT: i do remember making a note to check out their pre-Naer Solen stuff in the hopes that it might be less melodic/more death metal.

FatalEnergy 12-12-2008 12:49 AM

I like Dawn. They aren't bad.

I agree that they can go a bit far with their melodies, but overall I think they show pretty good musicianship.

publicastration 12-12-2008 11:38 AM

has anyone heard the Krallice album? It's good.

definitely, i think there's a few acoustic interludes that stick out especially.

Stormrider 12-12-2008 02:55 PM

Hey Anton, I'm guessing you own Darkspace III?

If so, how does the insert of yours look like? Judging from several descriptions/pictures I've seen, mine doesn't completely match them...

Nær Solen Gar Nider For Evogher is tight. Slaughtersun is tight too. I like the whole combo of tha melodiez and the shrieky rasping idk.
