:amaze: 10-27-2004 07:40 PM

Yeah, I have to organize my AP English binder....it's gonna take hours.

:amaze:

bottlerocket 10-27-2004 07:44 PM

^ Good luck with that...

Dude, Luke, if you're into horror stuff, start reading Lovecraft. He is amazing. Stephen King said he was the best horror writer ever. STEPHEN MUTHA EFFIN KING. You know Lovecraft did something right.

Yeah, my Bio teacher got on my ass about having a binder.

bottlerocket 10-27-2004 07:46 PM

^ I was supposed to have a binder for Global Studies freshman year. The teacher would be like "Make sure it's got everything in it and its neat, beacause I grade these binders about 3 times a quarter as a test grade."

Never did it. Never attempted to do it. Teacher never checked.

Everyone was frantically making their binders neat and putting every paper in, I never did. Oh well, their loss, my gain. :p.

AHHH trying to tighten a wobbly tone knob and...ONE OF THE PICKUP CHORD POPPED OUT. This should just be a simple matter of putting the wire back in, but the wires so short, and the space is so small!!! I had it taped but it moved off, still works, but only half way...DAM!!!

e p 10-27-2004 07:47 PM

Yeah its like that with me Gav. She gives us so much busy work that it doesnt even help, its just so cluttered.

Crapdragoon 10-27-2004 07:50 PM

hi.

bottlerocket 10-27-2004 07:51 PM

^ A real teacher doesn't give busywork. If I ever become a teacher (which is possible if all goes according to plan: after I'm a chemical engineer and biochemist, I find a cure for cancer, then become a highschool chemistry teacher), I'll never give busywork. Hoorah!

I think I'd be a good, tough, and fair teacher. Like, I'd be really laid back and connect with the students and be their friend, but make sure they get their work done. I won't be a hardass about homework and stuff, like, I'll give people a plus/minus a few days thing on homework, but I'd make my class tough without being overly tough and fun.

I rule.

Hey crap and joe.

Nice plan Gav but it also depends if your students are little pricks.

JoeDaddio 10-27-2004 07:53 PM

Yeah... busywork is lame, pointless, crap. Like I0 said... a good teacher doesn't have to give busywork.

Hey, Gav... Is that an upright bass in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?

joe

bottlerocket 10-27-2004 07:55 PM

^ Nah, because I'll be the cool young teacher, but if someone acted up I'd scold them. I wouldn't do that "SEE ME AFTER CLASS" stuff, I'd be like "Come on, man. Be respectful." and just bring in respect. Trust me, if I took the time to write out my teaching philosohpy (taking certain points from my chemistry teacher last year and calculus teacher this year), it would be the best.
How did you know I was into horror??

:amaze:
...I didn't. I just assumed that because you and I are so much alike that you would be. Horror = the best. I love watching old horror flicks. The best.
