Hmm. Quoted an Epiarch kit today.
12x9, 16x16, 18x22. Definitive Series in dark cherry natural stain with claw-style wood hoops. Turret-style Lugs. Chrome Hardware. around $1,500. Hmmm. Something tells me that I'd be better off looking at high-end name brand drums.

Fuzzy 04-30-2008 09:20 PM

....something also tells me that I should hold on to my DWs (unless offered a bitchin deal) and sell that rack. Because if I sell the rack, take that money, add money of my own, and get a decent shell pack, I'll have the 4 piece kit that I wanted for college, and I can keep the DWs and be happy all around.

I don't know about you Canadians and Brits, but where I'm from you don't run into things on a longboard.

Fuzzy 04-30-2008 09:35 PM

Bwahahahah

tbh i've had some people blow through intersections and stuff without seeing me, but i've seen them, so i was able to avoid them.

riding at night ftw. seeing headlights from around corners is wonderful. plus the streets are generally dead.

because i'm bored. my baby.

fishbulb 04-30-2008 10:47 PM

That looks very nice.

And the only reason i pointed that out was because both of you aren't from the same country as i am.

Win A Rabbit 04-30-2008 10:50 PM

I just beat MOrrowind.

I bought it in the summer of 2005, and now I've finally got back to playing it and I beat the main quest.

Still a shitload of stuff to do though.

Fuzzy 05-01-2008 05:58 AM

The Elder Scrolls games are amazing. It's a shame not many people have played the older ones.

Panopticon 05-01-2008 06:31 AM

so im back from work, and i bought a scanner darkly.

It better be good.

Janeway 05-01-2008 11:18 AM

I have a guitar lesson today but I haven't done anything he asked me to do. I was supposed to write out all these chords but it was stupid so I didn't do it and now I've got to spend all my time looking up the chords and trying to get them moderately comfortable so I can bs my way through the lesson.

Then I have a physical tomorrow so I've got to shave my friggen' legs. :(

Vannaroth 05-01-2008 11:25 AM

KOKO club in Camden. Also Abramovich hired a load of crappy bands to play at it, like the Klaxons and CSS.

Actually I don't know if they're crappy, I just assume they are.

an_original_name 05-01-2008 01:09 PM

i don't mind the klaxons too much. myths of the near future was an ok album. no idea who CSS are.

hows it going everyone?
