sup guys
I'm gettin' that 3:4 polyrhythm with da trips and da kicks.

Oddly enough i was trying to show my brother how hard it is and what i've been working on for the past couple days and all of a sudden i did it perfectly without much effort and he was clueless.

Figures.

Little Android Man 04-30-2008 06:44 PM

Panopticon 04-30-2008 06:46 PM

Berk 04-30-2008 06:50 PM
he doesnt have a car lol
then that's why lmao.

fishbulb 04-30-2008 06:52 PM

If you want a bike for traveling purposes it doesn't need to be good, so get a cheap one instead.

Win A Rabbit 04-30-2008 06:54 PM

lawl. one of my kids wants to take drumming really seriously, and thinks he's pro already (but really, who didn't think they were hot shit when they could play basic stuff in 4/4 for the first time?), so i let him borrow/keep advanced funk studies, and told him to work through it.

he's done with it after a week. he was all "yeah it's alright but i know enough about drumming already" :(:(:(

and i think i'm going to go into my work after they close tonight and practice new breed. i have nothing better to do tonight, and i suck at drums again.

Little Android Man 04-30-2008 06:54 PM

If i didn't only have like 6 months til i could drive i would trade in my mountain bike and get a racing bike for travel purposes. Those things are so fast.

i know...im not about to spend $6100 on a bike, i'm just saying, it'd be pimp.

I pretty much want it to get around town. I'll probly be riding my bike a lot this summer because gas is fcking spensive. That and because i dont have my liscence yet.

Win A Rabbit 04-30-2008 07:00 PM

longboards are cheaper and funner than bikes. do it.

Panopticon 04-30-2008 07:00 PM

i disagree tbh. but it is an ill-informed decision, seeing as how i have never ridden a longboard.

srs, how much fun can you have going down a hill on a bike? basically none. carving down streets on longboards = fun shi.

Mountain biking FTW. Really extreme stuff, especially when your bike slides and you have to countersteer, heh.

itt: you are a downer.

srs tho, injuries/fatalities come with everything. longboarding, biking, driving (especially driving), walking, etc.

if you know how to footbrake, and worst case, if you know how to take a hit/fall, the worst you'll get is maybe a broken bone here or there if you're stupid about it/if you're super unlucky.
