Best part of this drama is it apparently happened in my basement OMG.

I'm from Des Moines so Paul's death has been on quite a few people's updates and discussions on my Facebook.

Most of it are people that were/are involved in the local scene that go way back and actually know Paul. I didn't know the dude at all, death is death, I'm pretty indifferent about it.

Pending the toxicology report, I'm coming right out to say that Yes, drugs are fun! But unless you know what you're doing I'd stick with cannabis.

I hope he overdosed on cannabis.

How about anecdotal evidence and the fact that in the 12,000 year history of [recorded] cannabis use there is not a single instance of d0cumentation recording the death of someone due to cannabis overdose.

When you also consider what constitutes an overdose depending on the drug involved, i.e. opiates generally cause CNS shutdowns, cocaine and heart attacks...and then compare that to the physiological effects of cannabinoids, there is no way it could happen.

It should be noted that an OD by definition is not always fatal.

There is scientific proof out there, but you can go to Google and search if you want more. I'm going to go smoke.
