I suppose. :p

Anyways, I have work tomorrow morning, which blows massively, and that means I must go to bed. Good night everyone.
Look at it this way. Woudl you prefer your job now, or mine which is the graveyard shift at Target?

Illmatic 06-26-2005 09:10 PM
The sad thing is... I have eaten there every now and again. But come on, roast beef with cheddar cheese. The siren song of clogged arteries is too strong to resist.
Well, you're from Pittsburgh, right?

That's close to redneck territory :p

Who's BRMC?
Black Rebel Motorcycle Club

It just got leaked.

Almost on top of it. Harrisburg is true redneck country. I mean, they voted Rick fucking Santorum to office. Only they could possibly see that lying sack of horse shit as anyone worthy of getting so much as the time of day from you.

"People do crazy things in commericals, like eat at Arbys."

Jom 06-26-2005 09:20 PM

Where the hell is the fast food place Sonic located? There's commercials for them here, and the food looks really, really good... but there isn't a single Sonic in my state. Is this a West coast thing, or a South thing, or is my state just lame? I don't think there is any in the Midwest, to be truthful... but I could be wrong.

Also: unless rednecks have invaded the urban areas lately, we have a lot of Arby's here in the city. I'm not an Arby's kind of person, though... I'm not big on roast beef.

Illmatic 06-26-2005 09:22 PM

There are Sonics on the East Coast...I'm not a very big fan of it, the food is "Meh". I want to go to an In-N-Out Burger myself, or a Jack-In-The-Box (even though a few kids died from the e.coli there a while back). I heard those places were good.

jpj 06-26-2005 09:22 PM
ZING!

But hey, we shouldn't be too harsh. Arby's take-out and a case of Pabst Blue Ribbon is the average West Virginia thanksgiving dinner.
That was possibly the most hurtful thing I've ever heard...

...we eat at Dairy Queen in West Virginia, dick!

Steerpike 06-26-2005 09:23 PM

I don't have a Sonic here, either. And it pisses me off. I really want to eat there. Everyone I know raves about their ices/slushees/whatever the hell they call it.

At least we got Red Robin's.

The only one I ever saw was in South Carolina (Sonic that is).

And Med, wherever you are, this Deltron 3030 is really good.

YDload 06-26-2005 09:25 PM

I've eaten at a Sonic in Salt Lake City. It was good :)

And the Arby's have really started to pop up without notice in the Pittsburgh area, haven't they? Two new ones have opened in the past month or so in the Greensburg/Latrobe area. But they're so good!

In-N-Out is the best fast food burger you can get. Period.

I haven't seen a Sonic near me either. I always see the commercials, but I haven't seen one anywhere.

Steerpike 06-26-2005 09:26 PM

This reminds me. The Waterfront just got a new restaurant, Fuddnuckers I believe it was.

My Redneck-ometer hit about a 9 when I saw it. Anybody else familiar with this?

ATM 06-26-2005 09:27 PM

Plus, In-N-Out was mentioned in The Big Lebowski, so it automatically owns.

"Those are good burgers"
"Shut the fuck up, Donnie!"

ATM 06-26-2005 09:29 PM

That scene where they are eating the burgers with the windshield smashed is pure gold. Santana fits the scene just right.

Heh, yeah, Fuddrucker's. It's basically a restaurant, but you go up to the counter and order the food, similar to Buffalo Wild Wings if you have them by you. Speaking of B Dubbs, that's a good place as well.

Fuddrucker's is famous for their slop burger, I think. There's one by me, but not close enough for me to bother driving over there.

This Sonic chain is very tricky. They show commercials, but then there are no restaurants in the advertising area. Bastards.

*Fuddruckers.

There's a few of those near me. Not really redneck. It was more
1950's - 60's Americana themed if anything.

They make a pretty good burger. You can make you're own; you know, put your own lettuce, tomato, onion, mustards, shit like that. They have some weird burgers. They have an ostrich burger and a buffalo burger. They also have a 1 lb. burger, which is effing huge.

YDload 06-26-2005 09:31 PM

There used to be a Fuddrucker's restaurant close to me, but now it's a Super Panda Chinese buffet. Eh, whatever.

ATM 06-26-2005 09:32 PM

My girlfriend ate an ostrich burger at Fuddruckers.

Ah. I guess I was a little off-put by the sheer number of trucks in the parking lot. I'm not kidding. The parking lot was packed, and 60-70% of the cars were beat up Chevies.

It's heaven when you are stoned

1 pound burgers. I repeat, 1 pound burgers.

Speaking of being stoned, I realized that the shopping center by my house was made for people who are intoxicated. It's got three stores: a 7-11, a sub/pizza shop, and a Baskin Robins. That's all.

I love that place.

jpj 06-26-2005 09:35 PM

I ate at a Fuddrucker's in one of the Carolinas (forget which). There are a couple BWW around me. One in Washington, PA, and one in Ohio somewhere.

One pounds burgers? Good gawd.

ATM 06-26-2005 09:37 PM

You will leave with food all over your face, a pound heavier, but happy as hell.

Steerpike 06-26-2005 09:37 PM

Oh man... 1 pound burgers... I can feel my colon clogging just thinking about it.

Illmatic 06-26-2005 09:38 PM

I'm getting a stomachache just thinking about it.

Then again, I already had a big dinner. Barbecue is the shit.

BoboTheRagingHobo 06-26-2005 09:38 PM

I saw a Fuddruckers recently, but other then that I have never heard of it before. It was also in a suburbian area full of yuppies and stuff...

I saw a resturant the other day named GG's Resturant, that made me chuckle.

Also speaking of huge burgers, a local place here makes huge ones...

the buns are about 8-10 inches in diamater and take up the whole freakin' plate and you can get them in various sizes and types.

IE - 1/4th, 1/2, 3/4, 1 and 1 1/2 lb burgers

they even have a burger with chocolate and marshmellows on it.
