1 9 5 6 3 2 from the ones i've had
I'll have that in mind next time I get one.
Eleventh Dream Day
Great band. |
?
how is it
First listen it was kind of annoying. Second listen it was good. on third listen atm So it's probably a grower? Or you'll just hate it I dunno. |
Khanate - Capture/Release
Giddy Motors - Do Easy |
Housemartins
Billy Bragg Aztec Camera |
Big Black
|
Duke Ellington
|
I finally picked up Hail to the Theif, pretty nice stuff. It seems to get a lot of mixed feelings, but I think its great, because as much as I'd love to 'get' all of that ambient noodling on Kid A, unless I'm in the right mindset I just don't.
|
Syd Barrett - The Madcap Laughs
|
Dead Or Alive
|
Velvet Underground/Lou Reed - Waiting for the man/Venus in Furs b/w Street Hassle
GBV - Half Smiles of the Decomposed |
Unknown Pleasures
|
The Red Paintings - Destroy the Robots
|
James Brown - 20 Greatest Hits!
Sometimes I'm convinced that James Brown invented krautrock. Without the noise. I'm digging the albums I bought today. All awesome. |
What'd you get?
|
Pavement - Wowee Zowee: Sordid Sentinels Edition
Yo La Tengo - I Can Hear the Heart Beating As One Devendra Banhart - Cripple Crow |
Nice, all great albums.
|

That album is good to listen to when you drive around at night. |
I got I Am Not Afraid Of You And I Will Beat Your *** for my mom. That and LOVE (Beatles).
|
That album is good to listen to when you drive around at night.
Especially Moby Octopad. |
It's best when you play "Return to Hot Chicken" and then "Moby Octopad".
|
Scott Matthews - Passing Stranger
Pretty good, this. Perhaps a little bit disappointing given how good "Dream Song" is, but still. Singer-songwriter type stuff with something on a frequent emphasis on Eastern-like sounds (healthy dose of tabla, for example), optimistically I think it'd appeal to Jeff Buckley/Nick Drake enthusiasts. And if not, you should all at least hear "Dream Song". |
Bonnie "Prince" Billy & Matt Sweeney - Superwolf
and Wilco - Summerteeth I read that this is Wilco's "pop" album but I couldn't connect to the songs as well as I did with YHF's, though there are some really fantastic lines in it. The ashtray says.. |
um LCD Soundsystem
you must have typed this by accident becuase they are so terrible. |
Mogwai - Mr. Beast
This album is the shit, seriously. |
TV on the Radio - Return to Cookie Mountain
The Smiths - The Queen is Dead Young Money Entertainment Presents... - Lil Weezy Ana |
Best Jay-Z album.
|
Why did The Blueprint make that RS list.
i mean it's a good album but i mean seriously it's not that good wtf |
Yo La Tengo - And Then Nothing Turned Itself Inside Out
|
Why did The Blueprint make that RS list.
i mean it's a good album but i mean seriously it's not that good wtf
Well, Kanye produced it, and RS are obsessed with him. |
