Morumbar 05-21-2009 04:46 AM

How can anyone not like lasagna...

I do, however, prefer pizza (not Domino's). Not gonna lie.

rasputin 05-21-2009 04:56 AM

pizza is pretty good and the fact that you can lots of different pizza is good, but the very concept of lasagna, pan baked layers of sheet pasta laced with mince and cheese and whatever else you like just can't be beaten

Good day folks,
What's cracking?

np: Doom:VS - The Light That Would Fade

EDIT:
I just ordered 2 oldskool boardgames, second hand hand for cheap moneyz.
Risk and the original Monopoly.

Jev 05-21-2009 09:53 AM

I love Monopoly.

When you say the original, what city is it based on?

repcak 05-21-2009 10:48 AM

I once got Monopoly for Christmas some 3 years ago and never played it... no one ... oh sorry... I got Risk, not Monopoly, but no one wants to play it :(

btw. I've been out at the park and read a book - good times.

sup?

Jev 05-21-2009 11:04 AM

I've got 5 photography projects due in tomorrow. Shouldn't be a problem but a lot of hard work.

[QUOTE=Happy;17254466]I love Monopoly.

Uh, well, I mean the original dutch version. :p
But on the dutch market they've introduced a shitload of 'new' monopoly versions. With all kinds of weird features and themes. such a electronic banking, special cities, disney, star wars, LOTR and god know's what.
They don't even have the original game anymore!
What's wrong with a brilliant concept? No need to change it if you ask me.
Oh well, I bought it now for cheap.
Actually I just wanted to buy Risk, but since they have the same postage as long as the total doesn't exceed 10 kg, I choose for Monopoly as well.
It never hurts to have a classic like this in your house.

That sucks Kacper, happens to me too.
I love to play boardgames and shi, but not everyone enjoys that. :(
Such a great way to spend an evening or night, just playing boardgames.

Out in the park and reading?
That's awesome.
Did you read anything nice, or was it study literature?

My day was pretty good, did some shopping, watched some tv, listened some music, read a book and maily just chilled out.
Since it's today is a holiday I decided to have a relaxed day. :-p

Oh yeah, we have the same crap here. I hate most of it but I did buy Pokémon Monopoly because Pokémon is awesome.

Have you heard of Ghettopoly? That looks interesting.

the2stranger 05-21-2009 11:19 AM

Ghettopoly?
That sounds pretty cool actually.
>_>
I've never heard of that though, neither have I seen it in stores.

They've also come up with a new version of Risk.
Which a friend of mine bought, expecting you could still also play the original game.
He was wrong and the new feature sucks according to him.
Sucks if you've paid 40 bucks for that game.
So I'm happy with my old skool second hand game.

I bought it in an online shop that specializes in second hand games.
Bot games I bought are in good or escellent condition and complete.
so yay! :)

repcak 05-21-2009 11:25 AM

No, no university books :p
Just a Sci-Fiction novel I borrowed from a friend by Sergej Lukianenko... pretty nice.

I need to eat something...

the2stranger 05-21-2009 11:35 AM

That'sthe guy who wrote the Night Watch cycle, right?
I have Night Watch and Day Watch on DVD.
Awesome movies, even though I've never read the books.

Which book did you read?
I've already had awesome food.

Not sure, probably. I think its based on the poorer parts of NY.

exactly!
the book has the title "star play"; I started today and read the first 100 pages... so it seems to be good :)
I quit reading the "Glass Palace" by Amitav Gosh... it was too boring, and life is too short for bad books ;)

the2stranger 05-21-2009 11:55 AM

You're correct about the bad book thing.
What a diference in enjoying thee is, between good, bad and mediocre books.I don't like modern Indian literature myself.

In fact you've sparked my attention for reading.
I think I'll pick up my book again.
I'm 2/3th finished with this book.
It's about concepts of heaven and hell in different literary stories, religions, films.
Interesting!

repcak 05-21-2009 12:01 PM

title/author?

the2stranger 05-21-2009 01:11 PM

It's a dutch book.
I don't think it's been translated.
It's written by a bunch of people from 2 different universities in the Netherlands.
By people from various fields, language professors, religious scientists, film makers and so on.
The title translates to something like this:
From Neither Side; Stories About Heaven And Hell.

I finished another chapter in the book, but I can't focus as well as I'd like.
Since my um is watching an annoying TV on the background.
So i've come back on the internet. :p
