Man, I really wanna see FTD again.
Glenn Danzig has announced plans for the 2005 Blackest of the Black Tour. The tour will include headliners Danzig, as well as hardcore and black metal acts including Chimaira, Behemoth, Himsa, Mortiis (ex-Emperor), and The Agony Scene.
Of some note is that each stop on the tour will feature a 30-minute Misfits set with Doyle von Frankenstein, Doyle previously joined Glenn for similar sets last fall. The festival debuted in the Summer of 2003 with Danzig, Superjoint Ritual, Opeth, Nile, Lacuna Coil and Behemoth. Dates for the 2005 edition are expected shortly. In additional to the tour, Danzig will also see the release of Il Demonio Nera on July 12th. The DVD is a collection of videos, video outtakes, alternative versions and previously unreleased music videos from the band's Danzig 4 and Danzig 5.
Assuming this show is under $20, i'll probably go for the Misfits set and Behemoth. |
Ditto, I'd go for the Misfits set and Behemoth, they are so good.
|
Yeah, I don't even like a lot of death metal, but Behemoth are amazing.
|
I like alot of death metal and black metal. I think Gorgoroth should be at the Blackest of the Black. That'd be awesome.
Name ONE vocalist that sounds like Jello Biafra, name one band besides FTD that replicate that guitar style.
God Conner, you fucking suck.
FTD's guitars dont even sound like DK's, except for similar style in a couple of songs. |
They do sometimes, like the interlude for example reminds me a lot of DK.
|
Dead Kennedys : see over rated band
|
Conner: see opinion invalid.
|
They aren't over-rated.
|
Dead Kennedys are one of the most influential bands period. Jello Biafra's a genius.

Screw you. How often do you see Ensign? I'd love to see them and The Procedure. |
Your **** right PUBLIC ENEMY is playing hellfest. Chuck D., Flava Flav and Professor Grif will all be at Hellfest 2005 in full effect! If you know anything youll know that P.E. has a message that synonomous with hardcore ideals, they just happen to express is from a hip hop point of view. P.E. was as ground breaking and innovative as they were creative and unrelenting. A message of truth and positivity with some of the best beats, hooks and rhymes ever laid to tape. YA HEARD. We are so stoked to have one of the greatest hip hop groups ever to make Hellfest 2005 one of the handful of shows to be played this year. GET INTO IT!! -THE HELLFEST TEAM
HOLY HELL! That is the first I have ever heard of hip-hop playing with hardcore. This is like the only rap group I like so I now I want to go to Hellfest even more. |
