I actually didn't see Dave crying, despite what people have said, I saw Lars crying. I could have understood if Dave was crying, but what the **** is Lars crying for?
And Dave has been through alot of ****. I think he has more then enough reason to be angry.
I just saw him drinking. I didn't see Dave crying at all. Lars was whiping his face and crying and stuff.

Same, I was actually expecting to see Dave crying because I know a few people who had seen it at the cinemas. Maybe it's just his voice sounds kinda whiney? (I don't think that, but maybe other people do...)

his voice isn't that whiney though. i don't know what they are thinking

Endless Obsession 03-12-2005 11:28 AM

I think when people say that he cried, they really just mean that he was wining like a little bitch, not actuall tears like coming out.

Go look at the official Megadeth thread, there's some news you might like.

JACKROXYOU 03-12-2005 11:43 AM

cryin what happened?

LarsAgi007 03-12-2005 11:52 AM
what the hell ? stop being an elitist bastard; just cause their fave song isnt of the first 3 or 4 albums that doesnt make them any less of a fan at all.
I am what i would consider a real Metallica Fan, i have on previous pages what Metallica things i have, now if i wasnt a fan i wouldnt spend hundreds of pounds on this stuff.... Just because someone likes one song, does not mean they are not a fan... geez
I love Metallica, i have a different Metallica shirt on every day, i have not had one day in 2005 where i havn't had one of my Metallica shirts on for less than 8 hours
In fact every other day of the week, i am practicing Metallica songs, with my band, and basing new songs on Metallica
My favourite album is And Justice for all...
And my favourite song is Fixxxer, the last track off the reload album, Just because its not the mainstream song, or the heaviest song, or the song with the best solos in, does not mean to say i am not a true fan
EVERYONE, and i mean EVERYONE!!! Has different opinions on everything. and that is what makes us all unique
P.S but if you do like Metallica you rule ;) :thumb:

This thread KICKS ***. This is like the first Metallica Thread that I've been on that hasn't been flaming my favorite band. "METAL UP YOUR ***"

Huber 03-12-2005 12:29 PM

Flaming is banned in just about every ***Official*** thread. So, you should be safe in those :)

Chu 03-12-2005 12:31 PM

I guess I'll have to flame Metallica :upset:

PepsiMetal 03-12-2005 12:32 PM

Actually dave did cry. He didn't really cry, but he had teary eyes. You can see his eyes got a little red and stuff when he was talking to lars at that SKOM meeting. But they all need to forget that. He needs to go enjoy megadeth and james/lars need to enjoy metallica and forget about being rivalries and stuff. Nobody really cares if they hate each other or what.. At least I dont.

Mindless flaming isn't supported.
Justify your views sensibly and it's ok, as long as your point isn't completely moronic.

IMO rivalries between bands is pretty lame. Like how Mathew Good always bad mouths everyone else. He needs to be put in his place.

One is a ****ing GREAT song

IMO rivalries between huge bands like metallica and megadeth are pretty lame, but between different garage bands I must say it rox.... It's kinda a part of the garage subcultur music world...

exactly.. ''crying as an obriviation, but he did whine lilke a BITCH and sobbed and showed no respect to his band 'megadeath'

Pisungen 03-12-2005 04:14 PM

About all this "Greatest hits" talk i think you need to split it up... You could divide it into who their bassist were at that time so it's like:

Metallica Greatest Hits Vol 1 (The early years / Cliff Burton era) Kill 'em All to Master of Puppets

Metallica Greatest Hits Vol 2 (The fame / The boring pick bassist era :P) And justice for all to Reload

Metallica Greatest Hits Vol 2 ( ROBZILLA ) St. Anger to ?

Ofcourse you could divide it in other ways like Kill em all to Black album and the loads etc but it Metallica has so many different styles that you need to divide it into groupse ...

Megadeth IS Dave... the others just play what i says (I think)

vashts80 03-12-2005 05:05 PM

Actually, I believe Marty and Ellefson and Menza were all somewhat free in what they wrote and played. Although Dave did make them change certain things to fit what he was playing, IIRC Dave wrote all of his parts (obviously) and Marty wrote most of his parts. I'm probably wrong though. Time to go to the Megadeth thread again, me things.

Anyways. Rob is a beast. I can't wait to see what he does for the next album. I'd love his lines to be a lot louder, just as loud as 'Arry's in Maiden. That'd be awesomeness.

willis2441 03-12-2005 05:17 PM
Megadeth IS Dave... the others just play what i says (I think)
the only original member in that band is dave

vashts80 03-12-2005 05:33 PM

Nope. Ellefson and Dave are/were the original members. Except now Ellefson has sued Dave, Dave countersued, and they hate each other. Go figure.

LarsAgi007 03-12-2005 05:57 PM

Sorry to take the conversation of Megadeth for a while lol, But does anyone know what Jason Newstead is doing with himself lately??? I heard he has now gone to Black Sabbath, Not sure if it is true though...
Also, a little bit off the subject here, but i noticed in Nickleback - Someday The drumming was slightly different, does anyone know if they have recorded new drums... Or have a new drummer??? P.s Chad from Nickleback has great stories from when he was around Jaymez Hetfield! Check em out on google

Ooh The Four Horsemen rocks my bollocks!
What's everyone's favourite song off Kill 'em All?

coolidgeALL 03-12-2005 06:06 PM

that link is hilarious

Go Metallica!
Ooh The Four Horsemen rocks my bollocks!

Mine is probably motorbreath.

Then after that one seek & destroy, hit the lights, and metal militia. All good songs but motorbreath is just better than all of those imo.

willis2441 03-12-2005 06:11 PM

definatly hit the lights and the four horsemen
