It's fine.

You might want to change the preamp at some point, though. I know quatre found the spacing a bit tight; I think it's fine, myself.

which pre amp do you reccomend changing to

quatre recommends the Aguilar OBP-3; I've heard it in action and love it as well.

It's only a 2band on the Conklin; I plan to go:
Concentric Volume/Volume
Treble
Concentric Low-mid/High-mid
Bass

In doing so, I save room and don't have to pay for extra routing.
