guys, in the 26 years since Thrash Metal was formed, NO ONE PERSON has ever realized that the "Big 4" actually suck with the exception of Slayer. NEVER. This guy above me? He's a metal god and a genius of immeasurable magnitude.

Ofcourse Slayer shreds the skin off the other 3 bands. Master of Puppets..pfft. I like Blackened.

Slayer's definitely not the only good band in the "Big 4". I favor Anthrax and Metallica (The older stuff anyway) myself. Was never too big on Slayer. Megadeth would be cooler if, you know, Dave Mustaine had an inch of vocal talent. Overkill... never heard a lot of stuff by them. About six tracks off of "Feel the Fire", but that's about it. They're alright, imo.

Seriously, Megadeth and Slayer **** allover Metallica and Anthrax.

All of them are pretty much **** though nowadays, but Megadeth and Slayer's 80's material will always be far superior than Metallica and Anthrax.

I agree with Butcher. I think Rattlehead beats whiplash anyday.

With all the old Megadeth songs, instead of regular riffs inbetween verses, there would be little solos and that was one of the best traits about their music. In one of there later albums Countdown to Extinction there was a song called Physcotron and it has those small solos. Reminded me of the old Megadeth.

Anthrax had Fistfull of Metal and they were on Married with Children..

Morbid Saint's Spectrum of Death is my favorite thrash album.
