That's not the one I'm thinking of but thanks anyway. EDIT: I found it, it's called Music Map.com |
so i bought this 70s Schwinn Le Tour for $100 which i think might have been a little too much, but only because most combinations of gear switch things tend to skip when i pedal with force, which i feel like i should be able to do.
honestly they shoudl fix that **** for free. but the fact that they originally asked for $250 makes it a better deal. and then i put some tires with liek **** on it so that i can ride it in dirt n ****. it is pretty bad *** check this **** out but one time my right pant leg got caught in the gears so i rolled u p my cuff and realized the functionality of that. but the ride from my apartment to campus where i am now was +1 enjoyable and now i am goign to return |
this is how long it takes from being settled on campus to returning and resettling at home. 20 mins is not too bad. now i am watching the Patriot.
i've been getting into Young Widows - Settle Down City. its like the closest to Unwound of most bands i know and heavier on bass... nice |
i dont think it sounds like Unwound at all, although i've listened to it a lot less than Old Wounds. it's still got the same big black/melvins/jesus lizard sound combo as the new album, but with more riffs
|
the voice, style of vocals, and guitar at parts are what remind me of unwound
but definitely jesus lizard too, and in ways heavier than both |
uhhh the voice is straight up king buzzo
|
cedric from mars volta gave a shout out to ron asheton and lux interior at the grammys. thought it was nice idk
|

The same show? That's pretty awesome. I'm jealous. Cornelius were incredible when I saw them a year or two ago. |

An extremely fat man. |
Drones and Young Widows both booked for my radio show :)
|
Daaaaayumn. That's pretty impressive. Not much in the way of upcoming shows here. Haven't seen anything. I'm excited for the summer though. The National in a small venue on May 29th and Grizzly Bear on June 2nd. It'll be a good way to start it off.
Also, what happened to MX over the past couple days? |
I might see Grizzly Bear at SXSW if I get to Austin early enough once I get off school. I've never seen Grizzly Bear live before, have you?
I'm also going to see Efterklang. They put on an awesome show last May so I'm really looking forward to that. |
hey guys whats going on itt?
|
some fag hacked it and changed all the thread names to =] is it chad ?
|
directly or indirectly i'm pretty sure user chad had something to do with it
although as i understand discussion of said event and its particulars may be a bannable offense so mum is the word :( |

I'm going to The Feelies
hey Christian, is that Drones show at your radio show open to the public for watching or is it just in a studio? I'm definitely seeing them at Black Cat but it would be sweet to see them twice |
I think that it's open to the public. Let me double check though. You should come out for Young Widows, too. That's going to be an afternoon show.
