gaslight 10-26-2004 11:04 PM

A what?

coddingtown 10-26-2004 11:06 PM

'ROCKSTAR" energy drink. Its like "red bull" except twice and big and addictive

Crapdragoon 10-26-2004 11:08 PM

lol, why dont you just find a bag of pure caffine and sniff it and or eat it

gaslight 10-26-2004 11:08 PM

coddingtown 10-26-2004 11:17 PM

Actually rockstars taste really good and have alot of natural caffiene. A bag of caffiene wouldnt quench my thirst. Im thirsty all the time. Is that bad?

popinfresh 10-27-2004 01:34 AM

I've been offered a Trace Elliot 4x10 real cheap by a mate who doesn't play anymore.. Opinions? I think, or suppose it's that 1048, don't know with horn or not. And if gibson only bought them out this year, i'd say it's pre-gibson. As he said he got it a year or 2 ago.

So i'd sell my workingmans 2x10 and then have: SWR Workingman's 1x15, Trace Elliot 4x10, Warwick Pro Fet III and a Power amp of some sort..

What you guys think? I've never played a trace, though i'l try it first of course.

blizzard 10-27-2004 01:41 AM

trave elliot are fairly good i've played through a TE Boxer 65 watt and it sounded pretty good.

ps what do you uses a power amp for?

popinfresh 10-27-2004 01:42 AM

To get more volume.. I havn't got one yet.. but i'm gonna add one soon.

blizzard 10-27-2004 01:45 AM

so you can power an extra cab with one or does it just boost the output of the head?

popinfresh 10-27-2004 02:25 AM
so you can power an extra cab with one or does it just boost the output of the head?
You could do both. Most power amps go down to 2ohms easily, so 3 8ohm cabs wouldn't be a problem. But i'm doing it to boost volume at the moment.

blizzard 10-27-2004 03:01 AM

stupid guitar forum ripped us off - they know have a guitar porno thread and are claiming how interesting and original it is and half the pictures are of basses anyway

Left Shoe 10-27-2004 05:02 AM

meh let them have their fun , we are the original groove makers

Wintermute 10-27-2004 05:06 AM

What are you going to do, sue them?

It doesn't matter, really.

gaslight 10-27-2004 05:21 AM

Hey all! I've got practice in three hours, but I'll chill on MX for now...

Rollo47 10-27-2004 09:23 AM

Bah. I don't want to go to bed - the sooner I go to bed, the sooner I have to go back to school. The sooner I go back to school, the sooner I have to do my calculus test.

Wintermute 10-27-2004 09:34 AM

Hello peoples. I've just arranged my overdraft stuff with my bank, so I should be getting my new bass on Saturday. Which is nice.

PaulSimonon 10-27-2004 09:36 AM

gaslight 10-27-2004 09:46 AM

That's a nice looking bass :).

Wintermute 10-27-2004 09:47 AM

For £250 it's also shockingly easy on the pocket.

PaulSimonon 10-27-2004 09:47 AM
Congrats to the both of you., btw what bass ae you getting Paul??
Old battered Peavey T-40, a battleaxe of a bass. Sounds good and will get you through anything. I just need to fix it up a little, kinda restore it and all that good stuff.

PaulSimonon 10-27-2004 09:48 AM
For £250 it's also shockingly easy on the pocket.
Nice! The Peavey was only 125$USD!

By the way, when did you figure out the model?
