1. Genghis Kahn
2. Losfer Words
3. Transylvania
4. Ides Of March

Infinite Dreams isn't too difficult on bass either. You just must suck :p.
Hey! I'm mainly a guitarist, our li'l fingers aren't meant to stretch that far.

Most maiden songs, I just play the GP tab and play along without learning any of it :p

IMO Bruce sounds awesome on Judas Be My Guide, he's got quite a big range of vocals in that song.

-The Frank 02-20-2006 06:19 AM

Drums:where eagles dare ( no argument on that one)
Bass: POTO ( the bass just stand out on this track )
Guitar:Killers
Vocals: Flight of icarus

im tired :(

the_uber_penguin 02-20-2006 06:30 AM

My top 5:

Drums: Hallowed Be Thy Name
Bass: Infinite Dreams
Guitar: Paschendale
Vocals: Seventh Son (album)
Other (i.e. synths): Face In The Sand.

EDIT: And a hug for -The_Frank.

Lord Abortion 02-20-2006 07:59 AM

Drums: Where eagles dare
Bass: infinite dreams/running free
Guitar: Hallowed be thy name
Vocals: Blood Brothers/aces high/I can't choose :(

Josh 02-20-2006 08:03 AM

Drums: Where Eagles Dare
Bass: hmm, Running Free, Infinite Dreams or Only the Good Die Young (i love the bass "solo" after the first guitar solo)
Guitar: HBTN or possibly Blood Brothers, because of Janick's solo.
Vocals: Paschendale or Judas Be My Guide.

crag 02-20-2006 10:10 AM

Drums: Where Eagles Dare
Bass: Transylvania
Guitar: Paschendale or Dance of Death
Vocals: The Thin Line Between Love and Hate

JamJar 02-20-2006 10:38 AM

Drums: Face In The Sand
Bass: Infinite Dreams
Guitar: Infinite Dreams
Vocals: Face In The Sand

Those are my two favourite Maiden songs.

Deth 02-20-2006 11:08 AM

Drums: Out Of The Silent Planet
Bass: Phantom or Infinite Dreams
Guitar: Sign Of The Cross, Blood Brothers, Paschendale
Vocals: The Evil That Men Do, Hallowed

Running Free? That's an easy Maiden song on any instrument. Hell, there isn't even a true guitar solo!

Anyway, I will break with the consensus and say that Genghis Khan has the most impressive drums. I'm more of a Clive Burr person anyway, although there's no doubt that Nicko is a big asset to the band today.

Lord Abortion 02-20-2006 03:16 PM

I like the bass on running free, it's not the "most difficult" just the best sounding.
Wrathchild is saved from being a mediocre song by the bassline alone.

YDload 02-20-2006 03:27 PM

Wrathchild is an awesome song because of the riff shared by the bass and guitar (you know which one I mean ;)). I like to play Running Free, but other than that really quick blur of notes, it's a very easy song.

classicrockman 02-20-2006 07:45 PM

Drums: Where Eagles Dare
Guitar: Phantom of the Opera
Bass: Rime of the Ancient Mariner
Vocals: Dance of Death
Synth: Fear of the Dark

Cool, I might send some naked pics of myself to his daughter :p

I'll hunt for Bruce by the local aviation centres of London/

Have any of you kiddies seen/played the game on the Maiden site, it's bloody hard.

the_uber_penguin 02-21-2006 02:11 PM

Yeah...that game is ridiculous. I mean, you jump and you're in BOTH lanes for about a second, which is plenty of time to get hit by a car not even on the screen yet.

Also, is it just me, or does Neil Buchanon from Art Attack look a lot like Adrian Smith from the 80's?

From the sounds of it, Neil's not to bad at guitar either: http://www.musicoutfitter.com/store/item/823107214725/rockyoutonight.html

crag 02-21-2006 02:18 PM

 their hair style is scarily similar.
 their hair style is scarily similar.
It's not just that. It's the shape of their face!

And also, Neil played guitar in a "NWOBHM" band too. They released an album in 2003. In the 2001 Art Attack annual, he said he was "probably a better guitarist then artist".

I'd like to find some of those albums, just to impress at university next year...

JamJar 02-21-2006 03:05 PM

OMG!!! It's uncanny!!!

Ash, you're nearly at an awesome postcount, and also, sending naked pictures of yourself to Steve's daughter could backfire, especially if he beat you in with his bass.

Ahh touche...

I thought I already hit 6,666...weird.

Neil Buchanan is like a childhood hero of everyone in the UK, if I had to choose between him and H, I'd probably cry... :p
