i got these guitar lead converters, plug them into the jack on the back of my computer marked "mic" then go to start, all programs, accessories, entertainment, sound recorder,
and dirrectly record.
I'll send some people some.

You have a Jackson right?
If I'm correct it should have a small pre-amp, or if not it should dirrectly connect to the computer.
Just plug your lead into the guitar,
then you have to have these little adapter plugs, the jack, instead of being chunky (like the ones on the guitar cable) are thin, and the same size as a headphone jack.
You should plug this into the recieving end of your guitar lead, plug into your computer, then record using the system, the only problem is, it doesn't give instant playback.

Jess - I don't really like singing much, I might play bass to ye someday.

I've just worked out how to distort the output,
it doesn't matter if you haven't got a preamp on your guitar.
Just plug your connector lead into the INPUT jack,
then plug another lead from the Headphones jack into the computer,
using the same ole' way.
